Our apartments were spotless clean, very well equipped with everything you need during your stay (including mosquito nets) and even things you have not yet thought you might need (like a blender). It is a family business and the hosts were very kind and helping us with everything. We were able to use the washing machine in the basement which was not mentioned in the booking.com description. The apartments are in a renovated water mill building at a riverbank in a very central location of the town (a couple of mins walking to the local restaurants and bars), just opposite the street from the aqua-park (which is BTW quite expensive comparing to other similar places in Slovenia, but this has nothing to do with the owner of the apartments), there is a common patio to enjoy staying outside at the river. The location is at the same time very peaceful, because not directly at the street. There are a couple of surprising local tourist attractions within 15 minutes driving (WWII partisan camp, castle). Novo Mesto (15 mins drive) has a large variety of restaurants, cafes, and shops.

10/10 - Small, quaint, historic building with large deck overlooking a beautiful small stream that flows through the center of town. Staff very attentive, works hard to make everything perfect. If you want the perfect weekend getaway, this is the perfect option vs a large chain hotel. Much more of a bed & breakfast type atmosphere, with a small charming restaurant/bar. Staff speaks good english. ATM located just across the street. Two blocks from a large spa. If traveling in the area, we would definitely stay here again.

Quiet location with a park and forest nearby. The grounds were very well-maintained. The swimming pool and Vitarium sauna complex were good and included in our hotel package. Breakfast and dinner were very good, with a wide selection and plenty of variety. We had a relaxing stay and will definitely come back again.

I liked the cafe at the Pri mostu motel the most. They are very friendly and kind! It's very cozy there, their building is from the 19th century! I also really liked the piano bar at the Balnea hotel, where there is a very nice atmosphere with a fireplace and piano music.

Great walking and cycling trails. Nearby there are some attractions such as Novo mesto, Otočec (a unique attraction), museums, Kočevje (lake, church, town), Žuženberg (castle) and there are many more. The accommodation offers all the information about the sights.

Small hotel with a nice terrace. Welcoming staff and possibility to have breakfast. It was a bit warm in the room, but there is airconditioning. Parking included. Very nice area with a lot of things to do.
