The apartment was amazing, big, warm and very clean! It also has a private parking space in the garage! Reception is open h24 and the night shift receptionist is very nice. If I came back in Bratislava I will stay in this hotel again 😄

We loved it! The hotel seemed newly renovated - I loved greenery’s all around, colours of design. We booked room with a big bathroom and got super big bath. 👍🏻 Yes, it was on a third floor (no lift), but it wasn’t a problem at all. The breakfast was great as you can pick main dish from the menu (I like the idea of no food waste). Hotel is in a quiet street and about 15-20 minutes away from the city centre. Our car was too big for their parking place, but we got a place very near to the hotel.

Capital with a Small Town Feel

Charming and compact Bratislava is the world’s only capital city bordering 2 countries – Austria and Hungary, all watered by the beautiful River Danube. South is the modern city and a peaceful forest, but the real Bratislava attractions are over Novy most (New Bridge), an impressive structure with an UFO-like pylon. The castle on a rock overlooking the Old Town offers the best views of it. The rock itself contains a Jewish cemetery and a literally underground club.

Opposite is St Martin’s Cathedral, coronation site of past Hungarian kings. The cobbled streets behind are lined with outdoor restaurants and bars. The city’s speciality is treska, a cold cod salad, washed down with white wine from the nearby Small Carpathian mountains.

The main square is Hlavne namestie, home to pastel-coloured buildings, a 14th-century town hall housing the city museum, and the Bratislava Christmas markets. Hodzovo namestie square features the Peace Earth sculpture and Baroque Grassalkovich Palace, the presidential residence guarded by the Slovak National Guard. Across the park is the Archiepiscopal Palace, seat of the government. All around are many Bratislava hotels, B&Bs and apartments available on Booking.com.

Before heading to Bratislava Airport, visit Kamzìk TV tower whose revolving restaurant and observation deck offer magnificent city views.

Very easy to walk around the old town and to access public...

Very easy to walk around the old town and to access public transportation and Uber. Some great food options, and our group liked the Slovak Pub. I would also recommend the Grand Cru Wine Bar for some excellent Slovakian wine. Since it was over the New Year holiday many stores and museums were closed which was the only frustrating aspect.

Bratislava was good for a days sight seeing.

Bratislava was good for a days sight seeing. The Castle , UFO and the Michaels Tower. Stay in the olden city and then take a tram to the side where the above attractions are there as the accommodation in the other side is much cheaper.

Great city, although quite small.

Great city, although quite small. We went for the Christmas Markets and they were amazing. We stayed three days and, although occupied with the Xmas markets, it was anyway a bit too much. So, in my opinion, if you don't plan long visits to museums, two days are more than enough for the city. If you plan to stay longer, my suggestion is to hire a car and visit the surroundings.

Much smaller than it's close neighbour Vienna.

Much smaller than it's close neighbour Vienna. Obviously there is less to see but the old town has good bars and restaurants and a good atmosphere. You can get to to Vienna in less than an hour on the train and hotels here are great value. Summer by the Danube River would be good and the Christmas Markets were fun.

Great value with lots to see and do.

Great value with lots to see and do. Main sights in walkable distance. Lots of restaurants and cafes. A good alternative to Vienna. Recommend a walking tour with Sebastian for local knowledge, history and things to watch out for.

I live in Bratislava, so I am a bit biased, but I love the Old Town area. There are many good restaurant and bar options in a compact and easily walkable space. And there seems to always be something going on downtown. It is definitely one of. Europe’s hidden gems.

I have in business trip to Vienna and on my way back to London stayed at Clarion Congress with my kid. I liked the hotel : large room with great minibar, warm and clean. Our window view was into the others window into a courtyard. It didn’t bother us as we rarely stayed. The breakfast was good. The staff is friendly and helpful. The old town of beautiful Bratislava was in 15 minutes walk by foot from the hotel.

great hotel located about 10 min walk to the old town of Bratislava,it is up a small hill that may be of concern to some the room booked was a superior studio which I would highly recommend, spacious and warm with the added bonus of a kitchen, the breakfast was perfect with plenty of choice would highly recommend this hotel

The location was good and it was very quiet during the night. The food in the restaurant was excellent. 5 stars for that. The hotel has free parking spaces for its guests, which is very rare in Bratislava, and should be normal. The room and the toilet are very spacious, much more than we expected.

The location in the old town was perfect for a short city visit to Bratislava. The breakfast in the hotel garden was nice, as were the drinks served in the garden, where we met friends who live in Bratislava, ad did not know such a garden existed in the old town area.
