I wasn't sure what to exepct as this was my first trip to Paramaribo. Greenheart hotel just blew me away. A small hotel, tucked away in a quiet street. The owners Manoj, Gert have done an outstanding job in creating the ambience - bringing all of nature inside the hotel - beautifully decorated rooms with great views, great attention to detail. Every room is different! If the place was splendid, the people are a notch higher! Everyone in the hotel was friendly, warm and caring. I had issues with my reservation dates and they were promptly taken care of.

I love this place! The location is perfect. In the middle of nature with the park/ jungle on one side and the river on the other side. Staff is super helpful and friendly and it’s easy to get around by taxi. It’s beautifully renovated and the food is amazing. Especially the traditional Surinamese dishes. What a great place. I’m returning very soon for sure!

I absolutely loved my stay at the Holland Lodge. The staff was so kind and accommodating, it felt like a visit with family or friends. Perfect stay in a new accommodation (one year old). Great shower, good bed and nice outdoor lounge area. Quiet. Only 5 minutes drive to the restaurants in the city center. Staff is professional, attentive and has an eye for detail. Great service and a price/ value is very good. We have stayed here twice now as it is a perfect hub for exploring Paramaribo and the rest of Suriname.
