I loved everything. The little houses used as rooms are so inviting and charming. Being on the room's deck looking at the elephants is priceless. They have a restaurant with very tasty food. The breakfast was very complete and delicious. The staff was cordial and everything explained on their internet site is exactly as is. I would definitely without hesitation recommend the Tawan Riverside Resort.

If, like us, you are looking for somewhere to relax after your travels then Sela is absolutely the perfect place to unwind, just 30 mins outside Chiangmai. The building is beautiful and the staff is most welcoming and attentive. The grounds are well maintained and the good-sized pool is immaculate, with both shady and sunny spots to relax. Very clean, well maintained, super friendly staff who were very accommodating. The location is far from the city but this is what I preferred. Hang Dong has a great food market and supermarket shops around, it's easy to get arpund if you have your own transport.
