Detached bungalow with self catering facilities. Good aircon and fans in a quiet residential location, very practical layout worked really well for 4 of us. Very helpful caretaker, Chayada, came every day to keep the grounds nice and she was a fountain of information, suggesting places to visit to suit our interests. One of our favourite things was finding Baan Rim Nam restaurant 8 minutes drive away, on the waterfront at Phunphin - great atmosphere and fantastic food, vegetarian diets catered for, no problem. The Swamp and Mangrove walks are well worth a visit, especially for birders.

A good location for a hassle-free holiday in Ban Takuk Nua, Oasis forest garden is a homestay surrounded by views of the river.

The owners are the best! They felt like a mum and dad, they picked me up from surat Thani train station so I could go to the night market :) comfortable beds and even better service, great place to stay before a flight!

I stayed here for 2 nights while waiting to go to Phuket, and Fatima has become like my mum now! We shared all our meals together, we talked a lot and she is the nicest person I know. The hotel room is really big and very well furnished, there is Air Conditioning and 2 double beds. The two best days of my trip 🥰❤️
