If, like us, you are looking for somewhere to relax after your travels then Sela is absolutely the perfect place to unwind, just 30 mins outside Chiangmai. The building is beautiful and the staff is most welcoming and attentive. The grounds are well maintained and the good-sized pool is immaculate, with both shady and sunny spots to relax. Breakfast is varied and plentiful and Windows restaurant, open from midday, offers delicious dishes to suit all tastes. It is perhaps surprising to discover that the property was built very recently as it echos the style and grandeur of yesteryear. I’m certain this beautiful hotel will soon become a go-to destination for anyone wishing to escape the hustle and bustle of Chiangmai for the peace and quiet of the countryside. such a lovely property away from the businesss of Chiang Mai. About 25 minutes from town it was lovely to walk around the grounds and use their lovely pool area. Rooms were lovely and clean and all staff were really helpful thank you!

We arrived quite late and had not eaten yet. The owner made sure we still could get something to eat at a local place that had actually closed already. The accomodation itself was very nice and clean. The beds were very comfortable aswell. Definitely a recommended place to stay a night. If you plan on staying more than 1 night, a rentalscooter is recommended. There's a lake on the property aswell with nice places to sit and relax. Staff is really nice and helpful. We had trouble getting a taxi back to the airport after our stay and they were actively trying to help us getting one.
