Everything was perfect except the service. We had to wait for dinner, breakfast while others were served right on time. That’s the only thing they can improve on. Except this it was a lovely stay and I would recommend everyone to spend a day or 2 in Praiwan and enjoy the beautiful and peaceful nature

We have no words to describe our stay at Panvaree The Greenery! First the staff, the staff was amazing. Always ready to help, with a big smile on their face and truly hard working. Second the food, here you don’t even have to think about what you will eat! But be ready to be amazed with this variety of Thai dishes, one better than the other! Third the place, the place itself is magical and makes you travel to a very peaceful world connecting with nature! And then we got a surprise! It was our honeymoon, without even knowing a thing, they prepared a special set for us, to have a romantic dinner, in a platform under the stars! It was magical!

This hotel is fantastic. I have read many average reviews before going there and was prepared for some inconvenience but surprisingly everything went great, way beyond my expectations. First, even if one staff member doesn't speak English, there is always someone near who does. Breakfast was good (I ordered eggs benedict. Come one, who wrote the review that they have only Thai food! Nonsense). In the dinner menu you will also find both Thai and western options like grilled salmon or pork chop. They are not that expensive. Let's remember folks where are we staying. It is a floating hotel! You won't get food for the price of a skewer from the Thai night market obviously. Worth to consider buying a voucher (sold either on the pier or in the restaurant) i.e. buy for 2000TH, you'll get 2500THB to use in a hotel restaurant and some activities (sorry don't remember which ones, used that for drinks haha!). You also get 30mins per person free wifi, which is possible to pause and not use in one shot. I haven't used it and enjoyed the scenery around me though. And this is why we are coming there, aren't we? The amazing views and closeness to nature. You can enjoy free kayaking, swimming pool in the lake (how crazy is that?!), and of course the lake itself. Hotel offers you to take private boat from them (4000THB both ways). Take it! My wife was hesitant, if there is a chance to stop for the toilet during the tour. There is! Just ask the guys on the pier and speak with the boat driver. In the middle of the journey there is rangers station (Nang Prai Raft House on google maps). No problem to stop there, no extra payment. Nice people everywhere. Boat from the hotel takes you on the way there to the most beautiful places of the park. It's basically a tour. We got there from Krabi (paid 2500THB for old smelly corolla taxi) and went after to Phuket (3000THB for clean Iveco SUV).

We love everything and really enjoyed our stay! Ms Ben is very nice and accommodating, she always make sure to check on us every now and then. We read a lot of negative reviews on google but did not experience any of it during our stay. Everything was so smooth.

Our room was surprisingly spacious, it felt just like a 4-star hotel! Everything was very clean, and the facilities were excellent. The price was definitely worth it. We’ll be happy to stay here again on our next visit! 🌟

Highly recommended! We had such a lovely time at Sang Tawan resort. The local family that runs the resort is very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are basic and clean and had everything we needed. The hospitality of the hosts is enormous. They do everything possible to make sure their guests have a pleasant stay on their beautiful property and in the beloved Khao Sok National park. The garden of the resort is amazing, they even have their own cave. We loved the Thai food that they prepared for us, every day of our stay. The family was also very helpful in arranging excursions in the national park. Thank you!!

Great location, felt remote but you aren't that far away from the national park. I really liked my stay in the bungalow, it has a great view of the river and mountains across the way. The food onsite was very good as well! The staff was quite friendly, though not everyone speaks English.

Staying at riverside cottages was a really cool experience. The accommodation is right in the jungle so it’s good to keep in mind that you will be surrounded by wildlife and insects. This was something I was nervous about but when you just accept that it’s the jungle you really get the most out of it. The room was super comfortable, had everything we needed. The bed was comfy, mosquitoes nets were good quality, bathroom was perfect. The balcony’s are really cool because if you’re sitting on them you are in the jungle and can hear all the jungle noises. Yes there were geckos and insects in our room but it’s expected and you are protected by the net when you’re sleeping. There was no AC but we found it fine, we were here in May when there was a bit of rain so this might have helped but it was manageable. The restaurant is lovely on site, does everything you need. We went to the local town for dinner one night and there are lots of options available. You can get to the town by the free shuttle bus that runs every three hours or can ask for alternative times for a small charge. We did a night time canoe tour and the overnight lake stay through the hotel and they were brilliant. The overnight lake tour was more than we could have ever expected - this is a must do if you’re visiting. Recommend booking through the hotel to ensure you get a good experience. If you’re looking for a jungle experience this is definitely a great option!
