The hotel is in an excellent location. All the staff are extremely kind and friendly — from the security guard at the entrance, to the receptionists, the breakfast staff, and the cleaners. The hotel is neat and clean. Compliments to the breakfast — it was very interesting to try foods that are not part of a typical European breakfast, and everything was delicious. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely come back when we get the chance.

The hotel is fantastic, the staff are so friendly and helpful. The rooms and the hotel are spotlessly clean. There are many thoughtful touches. The kids playroom, pool and restaurant are excellent and the staff all made such an effort. We were so impressed with the hotel and the whole experience had at The Pranakorn Heritage Hotel. We will definitely be returning.

Everything was perfect. I've stayed at Public House three times and it somehow keeps getting better. The staff is amazing and make you feel so welcome. The new coffee is 10/10. Food selection is awesome. Bangkok is an amazing city but this hotel makes you want to stay in and chill in your room. Walking distance to the EM District, Villa Market, and tons of amazing restaurants... and an amazing old man who sells Kor Moo Yang outside of the 7-11 in front of the hotel.

FAQs about hotels in Bangkok

Something for Everyone in Bangkok

Bangkok never sleeps, or so you might think as you fly into Suvarnabhumi International Airport. From luxurious mega malls like MBK and Siam Discovery in Siam Square to the famous Khao San Road in the Banglamphu district, this hard working city is packed with commerce, fiery food and soothing temples.

Catch a boat up river on the Chao Phraya Express or discover different neighbourhoods on the blissfully air-conditioned BTS Skytrain. A taxi or exhilarating tuk-tuk ride is never far away from the big attractions, which include Chinatown, Jim Thompson House and the floating markets at Damnoen Saduak.

To step out of the frenetic energy of street food stalls, amulet markets and the sizzling temperatures, discover an oasis of calm in one of the many Buddhist temples. Be awed by the majesty of the Grand Palace and marvel at the world’s longest reclining Buddha at Wat Pho. While you’re there why not relax even more with a traditional Thai massage?

From the sky-scraping luxury hotels with world famous rooftop bars to a cheap hostel bed in the centre of town, Booking.com will help you explore all Bangkok has to offer.

Bangkok is an amazing city full of energy and charm.

Bangkok is an amazing city full of energy and charm. The people are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the food is simply outstanding — full of flavour and variety. The city is very modern yet rich in culture, offering something for everyone. I also loved the relaxing traditional Thai massages and the vibrant nightlife, there’s always something exciting happening! Overall, Bangkok is a fantastic destination that I would love to visit again.

Most of my friends and relative do not like Bangkok.

Most of my friends and relative do not like Bangkok. "Overcrowded, too hot, too dirty, and the smell..." I just disagree with them all. These words are prejudices that are looking for justifications once there. I love Bangkok for its diversity, the charm and the strangeness of the far east, the amazing temples, its incredible markets like Cha Tu Chak, Pratunam and more. The cheap prices there for almost everything and anything, while being able to spend top money on known brands in its so many huge malls. Of course its unbelievable diversity of restaurants. And finally the people themselves, Been there so many times, and will be back of course.

It was very easy to travel around all of the major shopping centres using the BTS train and the skywalk. For those with kids, Aquarium is highly recommended (the glass bottom boat ticket is a disappointment so this extra ticket can be skipped). Meland play centre is also a good choice. Don’t buy the 3 hrs ticket, your kids would easily spend a whole day there. For those who loves tropical fruit, Silom market offers a variety of tropical fruit at a very affordable local price. It was too hot during the day so we didn’t go to the safari zoo. We only spend time indoor during the day.

Bangkok has something for everybody, being: 1. Temples, 2. Shopping, 3. Night life, 4. A transit hub to explore other regions in Thailand or elsewhere in Asia, 5. Food, 6. ..... You’ll Find it there. The city is easily walkable and well connected by MRT or BTS. You can also take a Grab or a Tuk-Tuk. As a local transit hub, train stations like old Bang Sue and Grand Bang Sue can connect you with cities like Chiang Mai and Ayutthaya. If you can’t book a train ticket, there is still the bus terminal of Mochit, near Chatuchak, and the one of Ekkamai, where you can take the bus to other parts of Thailand. Worth visiting in Bangkok: As a day trip, the Royal Palace, wat Pho next to it; then cross the river in the afternoon to Wat Arun. These location can easily be reached be MRT, Exit Chanam Chai. China Town, a visit during the day and the evening. Chatuchak weekend market. The big buddha, and particularly the museum behind it. Wat Khaek, a small temple, but beautifully decorated. Khoasan road, during the evening. During the day, the place is call. And many more ......

A Fantastic find in the middle of Bangkok, surrounded by well know international 5* brand hotels, within easy walking distance to local sights and shopping precincts. Great value for money to be able to have a one bedroom suite for the same price a king room in a neighbouring international brand hotel. Decor and size of the room was great and representative of the local culture. Good breakfast on the 12th floor terrace with good views.
