This hotel is set amongst stunning scenery and has amazing views 360°. The hotel itself is clean and modern and has a big beautiful pool and great gym for a work out. The rooftop restaurant is great and breakfasts are big and delicious. The owner, John, was so welcoming and friendly and drove us to a local restaurant and the bus station free of charge. I can't recommend this place enough.

Mr. Nung and his wife(house owners) are perfectionists. The house is so clean as other reviewed. Their Bathroom and shower facility is the one of most cleanest condition ever I have used in Thailand. Plus they provide me whole house for myself to ensure tranquility so no other guest will bother me although they got extra room. This house is perfect for a group or family with two bed rooms and living room(plus little kitchen) if you want to get most value out of this lodging. The location is fantastic since it is within walking distance of Chiangdao bus station and downtown. Mr. Nung has provided a bike so that I can go around freely. They provide a breakfast whichever you wants every morning. He comes before the night falls to turn on all the light so that I feel like home plus walk safely from entrance to your bedroom. Surrounding around his lodging, it's magnificent .Buffalos are welcoming you and so peaceful to watch them and beautiful mountain you can gaze all day. Thank you so much for making me feel at home. 🙏

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Lhong Chiang Dao Glamping in Chiang Mai, and I can confidently say it was one of the most incredible hospitality experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the host and staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed and comfortable. Every request we made was met with genuine warmth and enthusiasm, which made our stay even more special. The glamping site itself is immaculately maintained, with cleanliness being a top priority. Surrounded by the soothing sounds of a nearby waterfall 24/7, it truly felt like we were immersed in nature. It’s the perfect place to disconnect from the hustle of everyday life and reconnect with the serene beauty of the outdoors. One of the most magical moments was at night—around 11 PM onwards, the sky came alive with countless stars, offering an awe-inspiring view you rarely get to experience in the city. Welcoming little town well worth visiting.

Welcoming little town well worth visiting. The temple and the caves are great but the best thing for me was that I stumbled into a bar up near the cave which is called . . The Cave bar. This place has to be visited if at all possible. Wonderful hostess and a really chilled, funky vibe.

Not touristic at all, and the local people not friendly. Not recommend for solo travelers especially women. The treat very primitive. No way to travel without scooter. There aren't taxi or bicycle available. The nature around nice, also the caves. The mountain at night stunning. The hot spring nice but not a big deal.. Nest 2 restaurant very recommended. There is a realy nice Thursday market between 5-8 pm Don't take more than 3 days There and don't expect to nice hospitality..

So if you'd like to get off the beaten track somewhat the Chiang Dao, the 1 hour bus ride north of Chiang Mai might be just the ticket. Nestled next to soaring, cloud-wreathed peaks, the pace of life slows down, there's interesting caves to explore, a riverside hot spring and Tuesday covered market.

We ended up staying 3 nights from the original 2 nights. There are a lot to see and explore. We didn't even go to the cave. There is a hot spring not far from town but the smell is too strong for me. Another one is Pong Arng hot springs, part of the Pha Daeng National Park, some 30km out from the bus station. Tickets are 100 baht for foreigners adults, 20 baht for Thai nationals which also admit you to the Sri Sangwan Waterfall some 5-6 km from there. The longan plantations as far as eyes can see, and the mountains view as the sun sets are just beautiful. You may get "lost" in some picturesque cul-de-sac temples or villages which you will never regret!

I was so stupid that I booked a house a day later than I arrived. and found out about it at 5 pm when I got to the hotel. Can you imagine my disappointment?!? good thing the owner of the hotel provided accommodation for the same money a day earlier and agreed with booking.com. the staff is quiet and helpful. great and unique cappuccino and matcha latte. dinner was prepared from the best products. breakfast was hearty. Believe me, this night was one of the best in my life.

Great hotel, with really fabulous views. We only stayed one night, but we had a really nice meal in the restaurant. The pool area and relaxation areas were really special. We needed some further assistance with something that we left in the hotel and the staff were amazing in finding the item and sending it to us. We would recommend that you stay at this hotel

I love this hotel as I have stayed there many times. It is a lovely little heaven in the middle of Chiang Dao, nicely decorated with a beautiful garden and a swimming pool with an incredible view of the mountains. It is very romantic and also suitable for families.
