The hotel is cute and clean. There is wifi. The staff is friendly and helpful. At the back of the hotel, there is a magnificent river and seating areas where you can enjoy the river. We took our coffee in the morning and enjoyed it. As the weather started to warm up, some small flies came in. We did not think that this hotel, which we stopped by to stay on the pass road, would please us so much.

This hotel was just perfect. The room were super clean, spacious. The bathroom was impeccable. They called for my pickup because the driver was not going to come in my area (even tho I had it booked), they were very helpful and the 24/24h reception is a plus.

Excellent friendly staff. Balcony room overlooking pool was a good size and comfortable. Breakfast was a mixture of Asian and European cuisine of a good quality. Lovely pool, towels provided. Restaurant available. The hôtel staff organised a private tour of the area at our request which was excellent.

Amazing staff! We arrived in late at night and a hotel staff member kindly picked us up from the train station! Room was big , lovely bathroom , only stayed one night as we were going to the islands so didn’t get to see any of chumphon!

Quiet place far away from the tourist crowds.

Quiet place far away from the tourist crowds. Great beaches, nearly empty, amazing vegetation with lots of interesting places to see nearby. A good base to go exploring more south (we had a rental car) and close to the Myanmar border with all those hills. Would highly recommend the area for people who wnat to see a more genuine Thailand than the Phukets of the world.

There are many unique places to visit, many beautiful...

There are many unique places to visit, many beautiful islands, and scenic spots. I eed to rents a car and drives yourself to visit more tan 10 attractions wic are far apart. Traveling to see the various islands, snorkeling, swimming, and seeing the beauty of the various islands requires Local noat Tour to take you there.

Our stay in Chumphon was exactly as we anticipated, our reason for visiting was to stay at fisherman’s home stay, which was superb, we stayed an extra night in the town to catch an early morning train to Trang, this allowed us to witness the people of Chumphon setting up the food markets at 03.00 in the morning, brilliant.

Great place!

Great place! Great street food night market and shopping centres. We went to De Rust pub for dinner and watched a band one night. We really enjoyed our short time in Chumphon. Definitely make the trip to the viewpoint around 15mins outside of Chumphon, Definitely worth visiting!

We got an upgrade to poolview room.

We got an upgrade to poolview room. Spacious bedroom and big bed. Small outdated bathroom with curtain shower in bath tub. Not much waterpressure. Breakfast was poor, esp eccially for foreigners. No cheese, or ham. Dirty jams and peanut butter with a spoon dug in was not apealing. Croisants and cappuccino was ok though.

Only there overnight with my wife and three year old...

Only there overnight with my wife and three year old grandson. Yet I had to book two rooms because they couldn't or wouldn't cater for the child. No one in the reception until 08.00 am, the main gate was locked and although we had planned an early start (driving to Phuket) we had to wait for the receptionist to arrive. The property cant be described has a hotel, two rows of rooms Nd the location is poor. There will not be another visit and I would certainly not recommend to your readers.

The property is beautifully decorated and is located right by the river. We loved staying there. Rooms were clean, the place was quiet and the coffee in the morning by the river is to die for. The staff were really nice & helpful. We had rented a scooter which was great because we spent the daytime right at the property, chilling by the water with the sounds of the jungle around us, kayaking and enjoying the nearby restaurants, but in the evening we went to the city of Chumphon for the night market.

This was one of the best highlights of my 3 week stay in Thailand. Felt so genuine staying at this homestay like i was part of the family. Very good breakfast and dinner. Laying on terrace in hammock and watching boats go by was so relaxing. Room super clean! I definitely recommend. Owners gave a small tour organized tickets for ferry to Ko Tao and drove us down to the pier. Hopefully i will come back some day and can stay longer as it was beautiful. Locals very friendly and kind. 10 out of 10.

Had a great relaxing stay here inbetween some hectic travelling of Thailand. Bed was comfortable, the private bathroom was lovely and clean. Many nice restaurants in walking distance too
