I had a room with a sea view and it was worth every penny! The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and the view was incredible. It was very clean and the room was cleaned every few days. The staff was friendly. The location is also great! The beach is beautiful and never crowded. There are cafes, restaurants, and supermarkets within walking distance. I would come back again and again. Big big recommendation!!!

The location near the beach is very good , just 1 minute walking. The staff is super nice always willing to help wherever you need ! Which is very important. The owner is very helpful . He helped us to rent a car very easily without any problem, also helped us with taxis etc . We do recommend this place specifically for families with kids like us . We booked for 2 nights and finally we extended our stay here for our whole trip in the island. Thanks Tom and team!

Perfect place and invested. Nets on the windows is something you don't see in the East, a perfect design with a fully equipped kitchen. The hosts are a lovely and caring couple, they helped me move to the next place. The cabin is comfortable, designed with a sea view, in a boho chic atmosphere. I really liked it and would love to come back to stay again.

We liked everything and it was the perfect fit for us. It would certainly suit those who are looking for a laid back, quiet atmosphere. Probably not suitable for those who want to stay in the middle of the action, however the location is not too secluded - with a scooter you can reach tons of restaurants, cafes, and lovely beaches. Community-like atmosphere, not a tacky resort, felt like home after 5minutes. The staff is very honest and warm. Motorbikes rental is cheap, not a single problem when we returned our scooter. Food is cheap so are fruit shakes - delicious. Very cozy room and super comfortable bed. Lush garden, very private balcony, and wonderful jungle sounds especially in the early morning. The beach, wide and beautiful, is at walking distance, just down the road. Honestly, I would recommend it to friends and family and I would definitely know where to stay when returning to Koh Phangan. In fact, we ended up extending our stay twice and are now missing it as we continued our trip to Koh samui.

We have stayed here many times over the years. Beautiful location. Right on the beach with amazing views of the bay. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean, spacious and we had a lovely, big balcony with views of the bay. Close to many bars and restaurants. Ma, on reception is always helpful, booking taxis, ferries and trips for us. Mama Tim and her team in the restaurant are so welcoming and friendly, we were made to feel like family.

Amazing place on the island.

Amazing place on the island. Lots of cafe's, restaurants and more. Nothing is too far really, jump on the bike and go 15min to another spot, be very careful in the corners when riding your bike......lots of people get a "Koh Phangan" tattoo there meaning they crash and the scars. Sand in corners means, slow down!!! I recommend Papaya Massage for great Thai and oil massage. Enjoy a great beautiful Phangan.

Haad Yao has so many beautiful beaches that have an immense amount of underwater life. Be wary that some of the beaches though are rock / crushed coral based so they can hurt under foot / be slippery navigating. If you can pack reef shoes with you along with your snorkel it would be fantastic. We came to the island for my kids to learn scuba and dive at Sail Rock. We went with Asia Blue and the service was brilliant - they picked us up and dropped us back every day. The instructors and guides were all very patient, informative and have deep passion for the ocean. When we didn’t eat at the resorts restaurant we used delivery KPG as I didn’t have a method of transport we could all fit in safely. Every to ing we got was tasty from burgers, to pizza to Thai. It was delicious! If you plan on walking around just be mindful Koh Phangan is very hilly.

Very quiet area, only 3 or 4 places to eat or get a drink, the beach is beautiful but too shallow to swim in, nice to sit in though. Most of the hotels / restaurants sell the same food but not grate food apart from the Italian restaurant called loco I think, the food was outstanding and not overly expensive and the staff where brilliant.

The area is picturesque and at least when we were there...

The area is picturesque and at least when we were there uncrowded, quiet and peaceful. There are plenty of choices for places to eat and stay. Several restaurants are perched on the hillsides and have spectacular views of the beach and gulf. There is a 7-11, a dive operation, and a motorbike repair shop. A number of businesses were closed due Covid-depressed tourism.

Beautiful beach with cozy restaurants but a large new construction affects the experience. Will probably be good again as soon as it is finished. A little trashy on parts of the beach. If you like snorkeling, go to another beach.

Everything except the bungalow, which needs a complete renovation and lacks the necessary amenities for a beach rental. There's nowhere to put your suitcases, a wardrobe that barely stands up and is dirty.

We always come to Bayview and we stay in the Bungalows which I prefer the most - much more than the hotel rooms but then we like the traditional bungalows of Thailand. We love Ole - the lady at the desk. She always helps us get our bungalow with a bath in. The views of the beach are amazing, the staff can help you with anything from transfers to trips to anything.

The best hotel we've stayed so far in entire Thailand. Perfect nice beach, comfortable bed and pillows, nice food and drinks. Bike option, pier pick-up, you'll have everything. Usually I don't really care if the staff is friendly or not, but at this hotel staff was expectational, very friendly and helpful.
