A great place to stay in Khura Buri, especially if you are headed to Surin islands. Tom can arrange everything for you to get there. We really appreciated the air-conditioned room after spending a week in the heat before. :) A great restaurant is just behind the corner, and so is 7eleven. Everyone from the staff is super nice!

What a joy! The staff are simply lovely. They really looked after me. The bungalow was clean, tidy and comfortable. Plenty of drinking water. A hot shower and a great view - especially for bird watchers. I saw kingfishers, herons, hornbills, flycatchers, and a big swimming lizard. The staff work very hard to keep things just right and are very helpful. It can’t be easy in such a remote place. They arranged all my transfers which were perfect. Taxi to boat, boat to taxi with no waiting! The island is gorgeous. The beaches lovely, the interior of the island strange and fascinating. There are no shops, no theme parks, no rental scooters, just nature.

a wonderfully quiet complex in a fascinating landscape. Kate is an amazing host and manager. there is always coffee and fresh water. sometimes we got even some fruits or sweets to try. Everybody is always kind and caretaking. The cottages are equipped with mosquito nets and fans. comfortable mattress. large storage area and hanger. Everything is very clean upon arrival and is cleaned on demand. There are comfortable chairs on the shady veranda. The toilet is an incredible experience, you can see the starry sky and the birds in the trees to the side. There is no on-site restaurant, but you can eat great at the Bar or Eco Horizon on the beach in front, both a very short walk away. I love Rakkan Resort because of the traditional style, the calm and friendliness of the owners and staff. One sleeps fantastically and restfully. There are many exciting animals to watch and incredible landscape to explore. Highly recommended for nature lovers and those seeking peace and quiet.

Uncle Choi and the stay is beautiful in and out. Just like the island and its beaches and people, the stay was basic but had everything you need for a slow living. Its very close to the beach and I cannot explain how much I loved doing the walk along the beaches around the hut. They also cook great food - I had fresh barracuda their friend had picked up and I'm coming back again! Had an amazing solo time here!

A piece of paradise, so peaceful. The bungalow was beautiful, the beach and sunbeds were idyllic, the food was tasty and the staff were lovely and helpful. Transport to the village and to our next destination was sorted by them and everything went smoothly (we even saw a dolphin and several turtles on the way) . We joined the sunrise trip to the savanna which we loved!

Beautiful location and resort on an (almost) empty island. We loved every minute of our stay and would return in a blink. The appartments (huts) were super cool and unique, with a lot of small details. When we mentioned that the bed was a little to hard for our likeing, we immediatly got a topper.
