This really is an idyllic place. Superb surroundings, good food, the only really tasty bread I have had in Thailand and surprisingly even craft beer. Jon will help you find activities to your liking (and you will like them, believe me). Beds are good. The place is a must-go if you want to see North Thailands stunning landscape and enjoy the atmosphere Pai lost to commercialism.

This property was beautiful. From the lofted A-frame cottage to the setting by the beautifully flowing stream right next to it. The cottage itself was actually more beautiful than depicted in the photos. We had originally only booked 1 night but because we had a flexible schedule and the cottage was so comfortable we stayed a second. I have come to the village of Soppong many times to visit the Tuesday Market where you can mingle with the many hill tribe people who come down to shop and gossip. I highly recommend this experience if you are planning to travel in this direction from Chiang Mai. If you do come don't hesitate to choose Baan Kaew MO Ra!!!
