So many things but the service and the staffs are exceptional especially Iheb and Achwak. They went out of their ways to make sure my stay is comfortable and convenient. The mansion is so beautiful and serene. The pool is lovely and I love the courtyard with beautiful decorations and flowers for which songbirds live. The restaurant staffs are wonderful. Breakfast is delicious and I dine there a couple times and love the food.

Nicolas and his wife were very attentive. I booked very last minute and he messaged me very quickly about my arrival time and how to get to the property. they were there to meet me when I arrived, showed me around and offered advice on things to do and see in Djerba. they have bikes you can borrow and a paddle board too! the rooms were very clean and comfortable and it’s in a great location for the beach and there’s a market and atm 10 minute walk away. 10/10 would stay here again.

Where do I begin? Our stay at Villa Salam was truly the highlight of our trip to Tunisia. From the moment we arrived, we were taken by the beauty and serenity of the property. The villa is absolutely stunning, the architecture reflects traditional Tunisian style with its whitewashed walls, while the interiors are tastefully decorated with local artwork and artisan touches. It feels less like a guesthouse and more like a boutique retreat. Despite being a relatively new property, Villa Salam was incredibly well-equipped. Our room had in-unit air conditioning, a full-length mirror, and a small private balcony with a drying rack (a thoughtful touch).The bathroom had multiple hooks, something so simple but rarely found in other places, and made a big difference for convenience and comfort. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable we experienced during our time in Tunisia, soft, clean, and perfect for a restful night. Each morning, we looked forward to the delicious breakfast, featuring fresh dates picked right from the trees on the property, served with other local delights. It was such a refreshing and nourishing start to the day. The host, Fethi, went above and beyond. He was responsive, warm, and genuinely helpful. When our flight times changed unexpectedly, he arranged both airport pickup and drop-off, ensuring we weren’t overcharged or misled by taxi services. His hospitality and dedication to his guests truly made us feel welcome and safe. He’s clearly invested in making Villa Salam a special experience for travelers, and it shows in every detail. The location is also ideal, just 15 minutes by car to Houmt Souk and Djerbahood, making it easy to explore the island while having a peaceful base to return to. We’re already recommending Villa Salam to all our friends and family, and we sincerely hope to return someday. Thank you, Fethi, for making our time in Djerba so memorable. We stayed for a week. Sidi Mehrez is the beach we were at. Clean water, white sandy beach. It is slightly spoilt by people trying to get you ride a camel or have a horse ride. Tunisian food is great everywhere. We tried Essofra in Houmet El Souk. ChouChou in Midoun. Also had street food in a stall around Mosque Sidi Ibrahim. Le Foundok was great for an afternoon tea and a calm surrounding. Pavillion is good if you are after a Shisha. Easy to get a taxi everywhere

The hotel was absolutely stunning. The interior design is spot on, if you are looking for peace and lots of elements of tunisian art. The only disadvantage was very weak wifi, and breakfast could be a little bit better. The omlette portion seemed to be 1 egg 😆 but I must say the hotel itself was so beautifully designed that those little things didn’t make much difference. Still recommend massively, and it’s a fantastic place for great photos!

This is not a hotel so you need to manage your expectations before booking. This is the perfect place for a remote worker or digital nomad, it has accommodation of varying types as well as a co working space with good WiFi, a communal kitchen, a great garden to socialise and bask in the sun and extremely friendly and top notch staff at hand at all times.

Staff were amazing. Thank you to sister jalila. Standard room didn't have a fridge or coffee maker. But deluxe rooms did. So def should have booked deluxe. But dated needs to be updated. A small hotel so not many people around. Pool was mostly empty,so that was good.

The suite is very spacious and beautiful. There’s a small kitchen but no amenities except for a boiler and some cups. They offer a ride from the airport to the hotel for 100dinars which I find very expensive
