Dar Hi is an exceptional building located on an exceptional site overlooking a courbeil/valley of palm trees and the small town of Nefta. It is a stark architectural proposition that aims to redefine a hotel stay as contributing to and reflecting community life. Whether it succeeds in doing so is difficult to establish. We were the only guests in the hotel. It is however a great ambition. The staff was very welcoming and kind. The breakfast buffet was wonderful with fresh fruit, pancakes, cheese, eggs etc. The evening dinner simple, fresh and tasteful. It was the beginning of December and the temperature was a bit too cold to use the outside pool. The communal spaces have exceptional views and so have the rooms. My husband very much liked reading while lying on a lounge bed overlooking the courbeil. We both liked sitting in front of the open fire in the communal area. the bed was comfortable and the shower great. We think it is great for small group stays while exploring the region.

The host was really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the best I have ever had. Rooms were nice and clean, the best linen and comfortable beds in Tunisia. Rooftop was nice, we enojoyed reading there. I would have wanted to stay longer in Dar Maya. I am really thankful for everything they had prepared.

The resort has spectacular and good nature. The rooms are well decorated. I am lucky to get the room upgraded to a villa with Sahara view. Thank to Mr. Nizar Saidi, the concierge and guest relations manager who is concerned and always asks if there are any problems that he can help with. I would like especially to thank the restaurant chefs, Mr. Gazi and Mr.Jamel who prepare food for me every day as I have food allergies. A beautiful guesthouse in a fantastic location walking distance to medina and souk. Gorgeous rooms and delicious breakfasts. The styling is beautiful with antique objects. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly.

The hotel was well located close to the Airport. The lady in the Reception ( Besma ) was very professional, nice and best smile ever, good presentation uniform clean and badge visible. She was always helpful and answered all my queries, she is an asset for the chain Mouradi. Bar staff polite and professional ( specially Otman ). I would recommend the hotel, definitely will go back

We were so happy to find Dar Fatima. First we were not sure how noisy it would be because it is located right in the middle of the city and surrounded by two mosques. We all slept through the night and the morning calls to prayer were so brief that we were not awoken by them. Immediately we booked the second night stay. The location proved to be ideal. After strolling around the hustle and bustle of the medina, when you come back to Dar Fatima, it is peaceful and quiet like you are leaving all the noise behind you, outside the door. The entire premise is super clean and neat. What I like the most is the comfy bed with luxurious bed sheets. Rooms are so cozy, you can tell the owners pay a lot of attention to details. Breakfast was plentifully provided and the handmade bread was so delicious. Don't miss the view from the rooftop terrace. If you don't know where to visit in the area, the owner will be more than happy to suggest various routes depending on your interests.

Beautiful authentic house with a lovely courtyard, good equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, nice comfortable living room in a quiet part of Tozeur. Moustapha was very helpful and kind, all the tours he organised for us were absolutely amazing and started on time, we felt very much at home and we’ll be back any time soon.
