Place with great history.

Place with great history. The Old City is like an open air museum. Impressive city walls, bastilles, Ulu Cami, nearby must see Hevsel Gardens etc. It is also a great spot to easily reach Kahta Adiyaman, Ergani, Mardin by dirt cheap and comfortable buses. Strongly recommend for history freaks ;)

An interesing and historical city.

An interesing and historical city. People are very kind and helpful. Make sure you visit the Armanian church and the archaeological museum and others in the area. And of course don't miss a visit to the Tigris River.

Diyarbakır surprised me pleasantly, interesting culture and...

Diyarbakır surprised me pleasantly, interesting culture and traditions, old mosques/churches and UNESCO world heritage sites. But be careful climbing up to city walls, no safety barriers! Discovered very new and good restaurant Evar, highly recommended, close to Armenian church.

Diyarbakir is not a touristic city.

Diyarbakir is not a touristic city. We stayed longer as we didn`t know how will be situation regarding covid (possible testing and waiting for results, but vactination certificat was suffisient). Thetre is a lot of police as that town is Kurdish main city...

Beautiful hotel in the very centre of Diyarbarkir, in a lively area of town. The rooms are big and stylish, breakfast is huge and served in a beatuiful covered patio. There's a covered and guarded car-park if you are arriving by car. Staff was attentive to our requests and were very quick and professional at fixing a little misunderstanding. I would have totally stayed longer.

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, clean bathroom, good restaurant, friendly and helpful staff, the hotel is within walking distance to all major attractions in the old town, receptionists speak English (which is not a rule in this part of Turkiye). I heartily recommend this hotel. I plan to return to Diyarbakir and I certainly will choose this hotel again.

The staff were absolutely amazing, the customer service was excellent, the hotel itself was very beautiful, all facilities and amenities you could ask for are provided. The location is good being across the road to a mall I will definitely be staying here again and will recommend to others
