Marmaris is a fantastic town — the restaurants, shops, and overall atmosphere were wonderful. The shopkeepers do try to invite you into their stores, but they’re not pushy — if you say no, they leave you alone. The shopping is excellent, especially for sportswear, trainers, shoes, and bags — lots of great bargains and very good fakes. We visited at the end of September, which turned out to be an ideal time to go, with a nice mix of people and a great vibe. Icmeler is just 10 minutes away by taxi (around 500 lira) or by bus (about 1 euro), and buses run every five minutes, so I definitely recommend using them. Icmeler is also a beautiful town and a great place to stay. I’ll definitely be coming back for another holiday!Guest review byDebbie101Ireland - 10.0

Great castle and museum - with amazing Roman artifacts and a splendid view from the battlements. The undercover market was huge and cool in the heat. The water show at 21:00 each evening was excellent Easy to get about on small buses cost 50p for entire journey. If you want cheaper food and drinks stay off the beach front at night, but found not to bad .there are plenty of bars and restaurants away from the beach area.on a food budget nip into blueport shopping mall upstairs variety off foods all at affordable prices. Staff are eager to help and are always there for you. the location is the best, it’s at the right distance to get rest and not far from centre. It takes somewhere around 15-20 minutes walk to get to the furthest places you need. Lots of shops around for you to get food and anything you wish for during the trip.
