The Hotel staff was very friendly and spoke good English. They gave us some information about the surroundings and also about the typhoon Krathon that was coming. The rooms are very good with a good A/C, and comfortable shower.

We stayed for only 1 night between going to Sun Moon lake and Cingjing farm. The rooms were spacious and clean, with a rather luxurious bathroom with segregated toilet, shower and tub. The wardrobe was quite ingenious, sandwiched between the bathroom and the bedroom so it opens on either side and you can retrieve the clothes from it when changing in the bathroom. Hotel was very generous with the complimentary snacks (crackers, chips etc) and drinks (lemon tea, soft drinks, juice). The breakfast buffet has a big spread but unfortunately when we stayed, the whole town was doing a 5-day vegetarian fast as they were building a temple) so the breakfast were all vegetarian food

We loved the staff. Our host made excellent use of his language translator. They happily accommodated our 4 bicycles. Every detail of the accommodation was obviously thought out by someone with a flair for quality and design and, clearly, nothing was too much trouble to ensure maximum comfort of their guests. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Such great value for money.

Room was huge, and we loved the balcony. It was very clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The shower was very hot and powerful so perfect after a day hiking. Breakfast was cooked fresh each morning by the owners, and included delicious homemade dough sticks. The children loved being able to play in the garden and seeing the chickens, rabbits and turtles. The location was in a quiet area on the edge of town but still in walking distance of a 7-11 and restaurants.
