We were staying in the moment hotel, 6 person room. Great room. Kitchen downstairs well equipped. They let us use the infinity pool of the adjacent hotel free of charge. It's close to Taroko, but not many restaurant options nearby.

Everything. The best hotel that i’ve tried in whole taiwan. Best view, best breakfast, best atmosphere. Really, they deserve a 5 stars. Location is perfect. The hotel design is amazing. Stuff are extremely friendly and helpful and soooo polite. This was the best hotel experience in taiwan. I will definitely come back if ever i’m back to taroko.

newly renovated, very clean, modern room furnishing, blackout curtain, comfortable bed and pillow, big room and bathroom as per picture. Tea, coffee, biscuits, water every floor, brochures, bus schedule etc at 1st floor. Host is very patient to explain the route, trials, eating place, etc. Host will go the extra mile to ensure guest is safe and comfortable and the small acts of service, thoughts and actions make me feel safe, taken care of and welcome in my stay. 1) help to carry my luggage upstairs as there is no lift. 2)I missed the bus and got stranded in the big rain and wind. He drove up to me , picked me up from the bus stop and drove me round Taroko gorge (since it was raining and the next bus was quite a while away) end up being my tour guide for the afternoon! 3) check which walking trial is open early next morning and text to inform me. 4)text me at 4 pm to ensure I am fine and remind me that the last bus is 430 pm. 5) drove me to the train station when leaving to take the train

Room is big and spacious and clean but it is not modern. Need to climb stairs to room. Breakfast was bun, jam, banana glutinous rice and tea. Owner is two nice friendly old couple of Taroko tribe in their seventies. They are really courteous and friendly and told us about their Taroko life. The husband is a Pastor. The wife dress up my daughter in Taroko tribe costumes for us to have photo shoots. We had a nice time chatting with them over breakfast. Place is just outside Taroko National Park. Nice and cheap food can be found in restaurants nearby. The wife recommended a good and cheap eating place for dinner. Parking is free.
