Good location, spacious and clean rooms. Beach was nice. Walking distance to restaurants and shops, and there was a direct bus to Taipei right outside the hotel. We are very happy with our stay.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Taiwan. The room layout was spacious, modern, and very well organized, making it easy to settle in and feel comfortable right away. I also appreciated the convenient on-site parking, which made arriving and exploring the area much more relaxed and hassle-free. The beds were wide and incredibly comfortable, offering a great night’s sleep after a long day of traveling. However, the absolute highlight of my stay was the bathroom with its private hot-spring pool. Having my own hot-spring bath right in the room felt luxurious and deeply relaxing — a perfect way to unwind and enjoy a uniquely Taiwanese experience. The staff deserve special recognition as well. They were consistently friendly, attentive, and very helpful, whether I needed information, recommendations, or assistance with any small detail. Their warm hospitality really enhanced the overall experience. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a touch of luxury. I would definitely stay here again.

This place has a historical feel, it is as if you are still in the 70s, and we loved it. Room is spacious, the balcony has a view of the nature, hot springs are included with the room price. It's just enough remote to be quiet and a good place to rest. just 10 min walk to the bus station. Staff are extra caring and helpfull, we felt really welcomed there.

Our stay was just an overnight stay with two planned activities: walking the Lion's Park Seaside Trail and hiking the nearby Lover's Lake Trail. Unfortunately, we encountered heavy rain on day two and skipped the Lover's Lake Trail.

Within a few hour driving distance to Taipei City, it is one of the most popular spots during the weekends. In this district there is still a large paid parking spot, which is greatly appreciated. Seafood restaurants competition is fierce here, but you still need to know what you are ordering and what king of price information. It does not have the notourious reputation like Fu-Ji port nearby where the restaurante fleeced the clients. If you hate the crowd, and does not like to stay in line for parking or restaurants, avoid the holidays or weekends. During weekdays it is a lot more comfortable. Highly recommend to spend overnight to view the sunrise and sunset and you can go to the beach when it is not as crowded.

A visit to Yehliu Geopark is a must when exploring Taiwan; the fish and seafood restaurants are excellent and affordable. It's definitely best to avoid the cold and damp winter months, which are less than ideal for hiking and enjoying the beach.

The fishermen's market at Wanli Guihou Fishing Harbor offers...

The fishermen's market at Wanli Guihou Fishing Harbor offers fresh seafood. The adjacent cooking area has vendors offering meal services starting at NT$100. It's a popular spot when craving seafood, especially during Wanli crab season. If you prefer something less complicated, there are many restaurants around the fish market where you can order and have your food cooked. All ingredients are fresh, but prices vary, so it's best to compare prices. After enjoying the seafood, take a stroll on the beach. The sand here is white, and there are people surfing. It's also a great place for kids to play in the sand. However, you need to bring your own sunshade and there are no shower facilities. If you drive a little further, go to the Chung Kok International Surfing Centre, where there are restrooms and shower facilities, as well as professional surfing clubs that offer surfboard and SUP rentals and instructors. The environment is excellent, parking is convenient, and there are shops selling drinks.
