Villa Juliana is a little gem and was perfect for us after a 10 day safari in Tanzania. The location is amazing, right on a beautiful beach, the room was spacious and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We could not have asked for more. They went out of their way to make our stay a happy one and always had a big smile. Another lovely aspect was that the manager let us have the room until late at no additional cost, as we had a night flight. This was hugely appreciated and made our 42 hour travel back to NZ so much easier. Our only upset with Villa Juliana was that we had to leave! We would have liked to stay longer :-)

There is not much to say, incredible hosts, great staff, beautiful accomodations, an incredible beach right at your door step. Breakfast was delicious as well as all the other meals we had at TheSpot. The views from the balcony room are a bliss to the eyes! Everything was spotless and truly truly amazing during our stay, I wish I could have stay longer. Thank You Roby & Vale, you are the best. This is the place to stay in Jambiani. I wil miss this place and l will come back!

They go above and beyond to create an unforgettable experience. Olivia serves every meal with a warm smile and is always there when you need her. Fadhil crafts delicious cocktails that quickly become your favorites. Ru introduced us to the rich flavors of Swahili cuisine—using incredibly fresh ingredients—and thanks to her, we fell in love with this food for the first time during our long trip. Marco oversees everything with care and calm, adding to the welcoming, homey atmosphere. Lucas and the gardener make sure the grounds/pool area are spotless and beautiful at all times. And then there’s Beth and Dullah, the amazing owners. They are simply wonderful—kind, helpful, full of great tips, and always ready to assist with anything from taxis to excursions. Their personal touch makes all the difference. If you're looking to experience Zanzibar at its very best, Mango Beach House is the place to be. We left with full hearts, relaxed minds, and memories we'll treasure forever. Highly recommended!

A peaceful and welcoming town with a strong sense of community and a safe, relaxing atmosphere. We stayed in a peaceful part of town, where there were noticeably fewer street vendors selling beads and souvenirs compared to other areas. This made the atmosphere even more calm and relaxing, allowing us to fully enjoy the local charm without feeling overwhelmed.

If you have only stayed at Sheraton, Marriott, Ritz, King...

If you have only stayed at Sheraton, Marriott, Ritz, King George or similar hotels - this is not your place. But if you are looking for clean beaches, clear sea, delicious food, peace, close contact with nature, friendly and courteous staff - this is it. There are many bars and small restaurants along the coast that offer a variety of food. In addition, in the town (of course African) you can buy products that are very fresh, and the people are friendly. Here you can buy handmade jewelry and souvenirs from the local population and the Masai.

Jerry is a wonderful Location next to the beach.

Jerry is a wonderful Location next to the beach. We stayed there for 4 days and enjoyed it The staff was very helpful and supportive. The rooms are nice and clean. And Jambiani is a nice and quiet place to stay. Next time I would go there again.

beautiful beach!!!!

beautiful beach!!!! However not the best beach for bathing because when is lower tide you simply have to walk to much for a swim. beach in the north are better if you have kids. Much more quiet than Page and less windy as well. Very safe neighborhood with nice restaurants.

Its a remote beach far away from the airport, it took me 1:30 hours to reach, and with a late flight u reach a gost city, no place to buy a sim card, to exchaeg money, taxi drivers are like sharks, the road is narrow, not lit, not fully paved, my old taxi driver did an accident, the beaches are amazing, great white sands, cool lovely waters, but tides are very low and high over the same day. 50 meters away from the beach and you are out of the paradise into a nondeveloped village, prices are as high as euorpe and the service quality is almost nil.

Beautiful resort located right on Jambiani beach with great swimming options at high tide and beach walks and snorkeling opportunities at low tide. Excellent staff, lovely pool, a relaxed vibe and thoughtfully-designed room. We caught one of the hotel's regular Thursday dance and acrobat shows with Swahili buffet, it was amazing!

Lovely new hotel in the heart of Jambiani, just a minute’s walk from the beach. The location couldn’t be better! The rooms were spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable, making for a pleasant stay. the staff and the owner were super friendly. I only spent one night, but I can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!

Very nice hotel next to the beach with very friendly staff. Good breakfast as well :) the area is lovely and it has a lot of restaurants arround! We had to do a prepayment online and at first I thought it was strange, but that’s most of the hotels in zanzibar so no worries! I recomend it 100%.

I normally don't rate so this is definitely a great one. The staff was very welcoming and accommodated to all our needs, the rooms are lovely, the beach is great and the food is amazing. Definitely recommending it, you can never go wrong with Blue Oyster hotel Zanzibar, true value for money.

Beautiful hotel, nice people, the beach is great, food is good , everything was perfect. If you want to relax-go here. Francis is very nice boy ☺️ We changed 4 hotels in Zanzibar and it was the best one we had. I wish I could stay more then 2 night there .
