My stay at Golden Nap hostel was perfect. It exceeded all my previous hostel experiences The room is spacious and clean. Newly renovated and decorated with all comfort. Golden Nap is located right in the center of beautiful Stone Town, close to all tourist attractions and in the middle of the cosy and historical little streets of the city, which instantly gives a local vibe The hostel is locally owned - which is a plus! Hosts are very friendly and easy to communicate with Super recommend this place!

What an absolute gorgeous gem of a hotel in Stone Town. Truly authentic building and decor and incredible bedrooms. I stayed in the ‘Kate’ room which was utterly delightful. Beautiful private terrace overlooking the town, enormous bedroom (beautifully decorated) and an open-air bathtub adjoining. Super private. Gorgeous to wake up in the morning and open the doors and feel the breeze filter through. Beautiful bed linen and towels (woven locally) and handmade soaps. If you are into aesthetics, then this is the place for you. I can’t say enough to rate the hotel. All the staff were absolutely delightful and super attentive (as a single female traveller it was very much appreciated). The Manager was extremely kind and friendly. Also organised a fantastic private tour of the town for me which was brilliant. The rooftop restaurant is to die for. The best, authentic and freshest of food I have ever eaten.The taster plate experience with sunset and cocktails was dreamy. Amazing views and ambiance. Didn’t want it to end! The Secret Garden restaurant is also absolutely worth a visit. I attended on a Friday evening when there was live music being performed. Truly magical. Again, the food was just amazing and the staff all super kind.

Really nice and warm feeling of the hotel, beautiful colors, design and decorations, great location and quiet for being in the middle of the Stone Town. The room we got was spacious (we chose the 25m2 room) with enough space for luggages and clothes. We even had our own terrace outside the room, which was just amazing! The staff was very friendly and professional and the breakfast had many options to choose from! The hotel even offers water for free for the guests to replenish the water bottles! You can find these water coolers on the corridors of the hotel!
