Our main reason for coming here was the vegan menu at the restaurant, but we really were amazing by the entire property. The food was excellent and diverse, the people working there were very kind and helpful. The room was very stylish and clean. They have an organic garden, so the mint comes fresh in the Mojitos. The staff helped us to book some trips to coffee farms and hikes on Kilimanjaro that was well organized with a wonderful driver and guides.

We did choose Tulivu relying a lot on the positive reviews from other travellers and they all have been very right. Tulivu is an oasis in the hustle of Moshi and Kilimanjaro area. It is a perfect platform for departures to hiking, tours and trips You might wish to have while staying there. Manny gave us many good recommendations and also organized everything we needed. The staff at the site is very kind and service minded, The facilities are great - you can swim in a big pool, enjoy cold beer or relax in the green lush garden. And bunnies in the garden were sweet. There are special spots marked in the garden with the best views on Kili, very thoughtful. Room with the pool view is recommended - as You can actually not just look at this, but also take a small dip in front of Your door.

Our stay at Karanga River Lodge was really great! Spacious room with a nice bathroom and shower. The pool was really nice and every day the staff put out chairs for us by the pool so that we could sunbathe ☺️ Breakfast was soo good - especially the fruits and fresh juice 😌 We had dinner there every night and the food was always delicious. Thank you!

An excellent choice for staying in Moshi! Clear views of Kilimanjaro from the top floor and very nice, comfortable rooms. The property owner, Gabriel was very helpful and attentive in making sure my stay was an enjoyable one. The food and restaurant service was very good. Exceptional value for money here. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to others and would stay here again on a return trip to Moshi.

Moshi is a friendly mid sized town.

Moshi is a friendly mid sized town. The street markets are nice to visit and there are numerous day trips to experience. It is great to visit before or after your Kilimanjaro/Meru hike or safari. People are friendly and helpful here and I felt very safe.

Walk around the property. Many things to do in Moshi. Indioitaliano has the best Pizza in moshi. Be sure to get a view of Kilimanjaro. From the rooftop bar. Rafiki Supermarkets have a great selection of items. Waterforlife statue at round about on the main road. If Hostel life is for you make sure to see what Hostel Hoff has to offer.

The only reason to go to Moshi is a jumping off point for...

The only reason to go to Moshi is a jumping off point for climbing Mt Kilimanjaro and/or safari. The town itself is a working medium size town, some catering to tourism, somewhta scruffy. No nice area to walk or anything particularly interesting.

The weather is great - quite cool at this time of year.

The weather is great - quite cool at this time of year. The town is clean and well labelled. It is a small town so its very serene and has little traffic jam. I consider it a great stop-over if heading to Dar es salaam by road from the Kenya side.

It's a clean city, the people are very friendly and helpful. The club vibe is amazing. For Touring around and climbing Mt Kilimanjaro, i recommend Fred's trekking and safaris. They are the best.

Our honeymoon stay at the hotel in Moshi was absolutely magical. We were upgraded to the best room available and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Everything was beyond expectations, Dee welcomed us and helped us with everything we needed, she planned our excursions finding very good deals tailored for us. We had the chance to spend time with her and her friends and to really experience the Tanzanian way of living, if you are looking for an authentic experience mkoani homestasy is the place to go. The breakfast was amazing and we also had dinner with Dee multiple times.

This is a homestay as it should be. We were hosted by the family who was very helpful and showed us the way to where we needed to go. Mrs. Faraja also gave us lots of tips on Tanzanian food and drinks - she prepared the best chapati and ginger tea we have ever had. A great breakfast! We felt very comfortable there and this host family is recommendable.

Peter and his team went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable while providing plenty of advice on the area and our travel plans across Tanzania. Our room was clean with a comfortable bed and the hostel was well equipped with everything you need. I wouldn’t hesitate again to stay at Karibu Africa Home!

Wow! Little oasis and slice of paradise. Wonderful setting in beautiful grounds. Huge room with private pool and amazing facilities. Great service - from cold flannel on welcome to friendly and attentive service. Hotel organised well priced tour guide to take us to the local town and to local Springs. Fab time.
