Tucked away in a peaceful, green setting just outside the hustle and bustle of the city, this boutique hotel is perfect for anyone looking for comfort, quiet, and a personal touch. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was outstanding. The staff are incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. Whether it was arranging transport, giving local tips, or just checking in to see how I was doing, the service felt genuine and caring. The rooms are clean, spacious, and thoughtfully furnished, with comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. Everything was spotless, and little details like fresh flowers or a cozy sitting area added to the charm. The hotel grounds are beautifully kept, with lush gardens that create a serene atmosphere — perfect for unwinding after a long day of travel or safari. It’s quiet, safe, and has a lovely local feel to it. The restaurant serves delicious meals, with both local and international options. Breakfast was especially good — fresh fruit, eggs made to order, great coffee — and dinner was equally satisfying. What makes Dan Stam stand out is the balance of comfort, value, and authentic Tanzanian warmth. It’s ideal whether you’re in Arusha for safari, business, or just passing through. If you’re looking for a calm retreat with personal service, clean and cozy rooms, and a welcoming vibe — Dan Stam Hotel is an excellent choice. Highly recommended!

Everything was allright, food was good and staff was so so nice :) always smiling and in good mood, we felt very comfortable. They offer a ride from and to airport. We also booked a safari trip with this hotel and it was just perfect. They can make you a customized offer and help you with everything. 100% recommend.

I was pleasantly surprised about everything at the hotel. The entire staff (from reception to kitchen to cleaning) were ALL so very nice and courteous and helpful. The pool area was great. The hotel was nice (looks like it was recently built). My room was nice (balcony, large bathroom), very clean, great wifi, and plenty of hot water. Also, It was a quick ride to the bus station (which I took from Arusha to Nairobi, on Impala Shulttle).

Loved my stay at Tulia… my room (number 8) was perfect, super clean with cold AC and plenty of hot water. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was sufficient and you could order whatever you wanted from the chef. The staff in the restaurant were very friendly and happy to assist. I loved the location, it was quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of Arusha but close enough for it to be convenient to reach anywhere in a tuk tuk- I also felt very safe. Very happy with my stay and would definitely stay again.
