A beautiful property run by a lovely warm couple. From the moment we were introduced to our room, I was mesmerized by the attention to detail and the design taste. The view and the location is serene, perfect for a calm stay. The food was the best we’ve had during our trip and we couldn’t have asked for more. The staff is amazing, very kind and always want to help. They helped me to get on the early bus towards Lushoto. There is good wifi in the patio. Ambience is very nice and welcoming. Their tour to Materuni waterfall was also very interesting! Food was amazing!!

Agathe & Claus have already received a lot of enthusiastic, fully deserved feedbacks from the web community for their hospitality and top class professionalism, well trained staff, food, immaculate cleanness of the venue and real luxury it offers in the midst of Tanzanian countryside. Let me ad 2 less obvious upsides: 1. You are free to make walks around the neighborhood to see, unguided and unguarded, the true rural Tanzania with friendly people, interesting landscapes, the real life. 2. For birdwatchers: the area is very productive with partly different set of species than those of Serengeti. The hotel is a natural base for Kilimanjaro hike, however, whichever part of North Tanzania you explore, if your home flight is from JRO (45’ drive) or Arusha (1.45h) you will want to stay for a couple of days at Pink Flamingo to relax after or before your African experience

It was a great delight in this guest house together with my host Gabriel! He made me feel like I’m home and came up with a great plan of going to the waterfalls nearby the Mt. Kilimanjaro and afterwards a tour to the local coffee plantage where I was making the freshest cup of coffee I’ve ever had (straight from crushing my own beans to my cup of strong arabica roast!). The room was tiny, but convenient for your entire stay and you will have a lovely view upon the Mt. Kilimanjaro! Gabriel can also facilitate many tours like safari’s or an entire trekking to the summit (or a day trekking) of the heart of mother Africa; Mt Kili. Definitely a great recommendation if you’re planning to visit or travelling to Moshi, Tanzania 🇹🇿🤩
