Blackwell was a safety stop on a two day journey.
Blackwell was a safety stop on a two day journey. It provided a safety, clean place to stay that was close to the interstate. I would stay again if needed. I would love to explore the town a bit more. I had to be at the cemetery on Kansas by 10:30 AM. So there was no time on this trip.

Bob's Grill has good food ... only open til 2 PM, so hurry! The Top of Oklahoma Museum is quite interesting ... the volunteer host really helped us to understand the history of this town ... from 25, 000 population to today's 7,000. Great exhibits. Hotels along I-35 have good food available nearby. You can do a lot of stuff within a 10-mile radius, though the town doesn't have a great lot of attractions.

Check in was quick and friendly. For the price the room was great for a travelling stop. We were on the road early so we did not try the breakfast. They didn't even charge extra for our small dog. Restaurant on either side of the hotel and gas station right next to those. Very convenient.

We always stay here when we go to the casinos at Tonkawa. This hotel is clean and they offer free breakfast, i wish they could change their time for breakfast It's too early lol. Other than that everything is clean and the rooms are decent size. I will keep booking here.

The hotel is pretty, clean,and quiet. The room was a nice size, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom is updated and very clean.
The woman who checked me in was very friendly, which was nice after being on the road alone for 5 hours.
