Buckhannon was nice. Shopping, restaurants. Peggy's restaurant has a very good breakfast, lunch, & dinner. We like the painting's on the wall by a local artist. They are for sale, and we have many of them in our home.

It is a very small quaint town, with some of the best places...
It is a very small quaint town, with some of the best places to eat. But what everyone should know most is their fabulous donut shop. The donut shop has a large variety of donuts. There is a flavor that is sure to please just about anyone. The best in my opinion was the Strawberry shortcake. The donut shop also offers sandwiches too. If ever in Buchanan you got to try the Donut Stop.

It is a beautiful place, the downtown area is thriving.
It is a beautiful place, the downtown area is thriving. Food and Walmart are all within 1 mile. Other attractions are 1 hour away. Unseasonably warm in February, but it happens everywhere. Don’t expect to get cell service everywhere as the mountains block the towers. Friendly people, but judgemental of “outsiders”, don’t let it bother you.

Best place to stay when in Buckhannon! Extra large rooms. Enough to put a queen air mattress between the two beds. As the kids were best in their own areas. Outside covered patio. It was great area to have a drink and chat/hang out with the family when we were in. Full bar and slot machines in their pub 88. Coffee on all the timevand such nice staff. Very quiet place as well. Very clean and tidy! Will for sure stay here each and every time when we are in town!!

The hotel is closed. You need to remove it from your listing. And if I get charged for my non-refundable stay, you will be hearing from me again. … Fortunately, I was able to book a room at another hotel in the area with your app.
