The building smelled like there was mildew.
The building smelled like there was mildew. Our room definitely smelled of mildew. We didn't ask for another room because we were worried it would be worse than what we had. We barely used the heater because of how awful it smelled. This was the only motel / hotel that would accept pets - we had no other choice.

I was happy to see everything new!
I was happy to see everything new! 40 years ago traveling from Houston to Dallas , and vice versa, there was VERY LITTLE CHOICE in stopping ... yet Buffalo seems to have it right on - every venue fresh and new, and quick! SO I do recommend this stopping point of Buffalo, TX, for any person traveling North or South of here! First time this way, yet I would definitely say - STOP IN BUFFALO! It's my favorite 1/2 way between Dallas and Houston stop FOR SURE!!!!!!!!!!!

Our trip to Tyler was derailed by weather damage. Our first night was in a terrible place, when internet was down an no booking engines were working. We moved back to Buffalo for night two so the three kids could swim and have a little fun. Hampton was clean, pleasant and relaxing. It was a stark contrast to our first night.

The hotel was very clean. The room was very nice. The beds werent very soft but the pillows were. Great place to stay and I'd stay there again.

The staff was very nice, the hotel was very quiet. We didn’t hear any noise once we had gotten into our bedroom.

Seems that this hotel is used mostly for truckers or construction workers. Needs an update RUSH!
