Cute little town. The Stumbling Goat, as well as Brown Bag Rosters are a must. There is also a Mexican food restaurant that is very authentic and has delicious guacamole.
The locals were all very friendly and welcoming.

Not the recreational capital of the state, but relaxing and convenient. Several good restaurants but be aware they close early. Cattle Exchange closes at 9 pm. The steaks are terrific. For basic traditional southern fare go to the Canadian Restaurant. Very nice staff, good food, reasonable prices, open seven days a week but closes at 8 pm during the week and at 2 in the afternoon on weekends. You can get around town easily on foot, Old style movie theatre (one screen) open on weekends. Good place to just relax, but county very rural and not a lot to do.
