Nice little town. Not much shopping but there is some about 20 minutes away. Good restaurants. Chicago Pizza and the Mexican Grill were great food! Peaceful town. About 10 minutes away is a covered bridge and Cataract Falls and it was beautiful.

Room ok. Breakfast poor. Not stocked just out x 3 days.
Room ok. Breakfast poor. Not stocked just out x 3 days. Breakfast area not cleaned nor tended well. Need better protein and dairy choices. I liked the waffles but not for three day straight. You can get different flavor waffle mixes to add variety.

This is an older hotel.
This is an older hotel. A/C didn’t cool the greatest and we had it on 69. It was very hot out though.
Lighting was terrible, unless you like it dim.
Food was great for breakfast. Hot and many choices, nice breakfast room.
Front desk help was helpful and friendly. The first night the clerk delivered hot cookies to our room.

I LOVED C bar c expo center, the rodeo, Cowpokes, The Exotic Feline Rescue (about 1/2 hour away). Our room at econo lodge needed more seating options ( than just the beds) and wash rags instead of hand towels. LOU 's Diner had good food but the food was cold( I got meatloaf, mashed taters, gravy and Mac and cheese),service wasn't very good either.

A MUST SEE in the fall months!
A MUST SEE in the fall months!
Cloverdale is a rural community nestled perfectly via I-70 only 30/40 miles west of Indianapolis and 30/40 east of Terre Haute.
Via US 231 only 30/40 miles North of Bloomington 30/40 miles south of Crawfordsville. Only 15 minutes South of Greencastle which is home to Depauw University!
Lots of covered bridges within a short distance, as well as Cataract Falls, Lieber State Park and Putnamville race track. Local horse arena with lots of events!

We reserved a 2 bed room a week in advance only to be lied to on arrival and given a 1 room bed. When I phoned Choice Hotels, the agent read the reservation stating it was a 2 bed roomed and then changed her mind and said oh wait it was a 1 bed room. Your whole organization is ran by a bunch of lying crooks all of the from the Gugarat State!
