This is a nice quiet area with friendly people. I enjoyed dining at the Crossfire Steakhouse at the Circle T Ranch and look forward to returning for a rodeo event at their magnificent arena. Frida's has great TexMex food and friendly service. It's a great place to get away from the city craziness and unwind.

Hamilton is the typical small Texas Hill Country county seat. The beautiful old school courthouse in the centr of town seemed quite large as compared with the rual area around, and the town itself. Holiday decorations in the courthouse square were quite nice. I didn't interface with folks other than at the Western Inn motel and at a local convienence store, but those were very freindly nice Texas folks. I arrived at sunset on my motorycycle ride, and left early the next morning, so can't offer much about the town. There were beautiful older homes along the roads I did travel, and the town in general appeared to be prideful of its clean streets.

It is very close to the Hamilton Municipal Airport, and I was here for a soaring event. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. I liked that the housekeeping was completed by mid morning. This was also an excellent value. I plan to stay here every time I come.

The property in itself is pretty decent considering the age of the buildings. The room we stayed in had a few repairs and updated appliances. Nice and welcoming landlords. This area on the outskirts of Hamilton is quite calm and peaceful.

Was inconvenient for me and my wife didn’t even stay ended up going back into town and staying at a hotel. Every unsettling experience having to take golf cart down unlit dark trail in the cold. Very miss leading.
