Honestly it was amazing - the breakfast was a great nice to have and it really made our stay better. We loved that every day our room was clean and towels were changed. Staff was also very nice and I loved that at the lobby there was tea and coffee all day. We loved taking a tea before going to bed. I'll definitely recommend it!

The room was clean and comfortable. Housekeeping was very good and provided daily towel service along with room cleaning every few days or upon request. The hotel management and desk staff were also very good and went out of their way to make sure my stay was comfortable. Far better than anywhere I have stayed in the US in the past few years. 5 starts for Destiny Palms.

Everywhere was clean. Love the smoking rule being away from the rooms. Bed was very comfortable. Had a fridge and iron which we used daily. Microwave did not use but handy to have one just incase. Location perfect Target not even ten mins to the left of the property and 5 mins to the right is a Dollar tree and a Mcdonalds. Applebees across the road. Catch the 56 Lynx bus on opposit side road to the left and be at Disney transportation centre in 30 mins for a bargain 2 dollars. Would def stay here again

Gateway to Disney World and Florida

Located next to Walt Disney World, the city of Kissimmee was founded in the mid-19th century. It is located on the shores of Lake Tohopekaliga, and is the seat of Osceola County, Florida. Kissimmee offers not only a range of hotels near Disney World, but includes a charming historic downtown and activities in contact with nature.

The small town benefited economically during the last years of the 19th century thanks to a drainage operation in the territory of southern Florida that used the area near the city as a base. But the economic crisis in 1893 forced the operation to stop, in the same moment that harsh weather ruined the citrus industry. The opening of Walt Disney World in 1971 brought a real economic renaissance.

The city also includes several modern sports complexes, like the Osceola County Softball Complex. Activities in the surroundings range from cruises through the lake, to visits to the Kennedy Space Center. Hotels in Kissimmee can become a perfect base to explore central Florida, including nearby Orlando.

    Personally, I am very easy to please, and Kissimmee was exactly what my family needed. The attractions are conveniently located. Aquatica water park was only a 20-minute drive, and SeaWorld was just in between. The Old Town House is adorable and caters to all types of people. My family truly enjoyed every moment of our trip.

    I love coming to Kissimmee. It has everything!

    I love coming to Kissimmee. It has everything! It's close to Disney, there are plenty of places to eat, you have Old Town amusement park, there are highways that take you straight to Universal Studios and Sea World, hundreds of hotels to choose from, shops, flea markets.... I could go on and on.

    Kissimmee is a great place for families of all ages.

    Kissimmee is a great place for families of all ages. The access to Disney and Universal is great and simple to get to. There are all of the fast food places as well as delicious sit-downs like Texas Roadhouse, which is a family favorite for us. There are so many attractions, live music events and free events around every corner. The traffic is terrible and getting around can be complicated for a first timer, but if you stay in the outskirts and can avoid the highways, life is easy.

    This is an excellent location if you're looking to stay near the Disney Parks and Premium Outlets. It's about a 30-minute drive from Orlando Airport, but it's well worth it if your main plans include shopping and visiting Disney.

    It's the best location for travelers who want to experience Disney and Universal parks. Distance and hotel's prices are good, having an average of 15-20 minutes to get to most of the points of interest like Shopping malls, parks, etc.

    We tried the boathouse restaurant at Disney, and the atmosphere was great, staff was excellent, vibe was buzzing, but for the price of the meal (nearly 500$ CDN for 5 of us ((2 had burgers)), it fell short. The salmon was excellent, tuna was too uncooked for my liking, and there were no sides. The vegetables with the salmon were not flavor packed and were too hard. The waiter and were awesome though. We also went to Fogo de Chao Brazilian BBQ, and it was amazing. 11/10

    On first impression, this is a beautiful hotel. But it is just a facade. The refurbishment is on the surface only, look a little bit closer and you will see the poor quality of workmanship and maintenance. The lobby has a constantly overpowering smell of cleaning products.
