Merced is a small city, there are some beautiful places to visit, like Yoshimite Nationoal park, which is two hours from merced. However, you can visit Yosemite Lake, which is next to the University; it is beautiful.

Despite its traditional charm, the hotel was very comfortable. My room was pleasantly clean, and the beds provided a great night's sleep. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and efficient, making check-in so easy. We definitely will be back and stay here again.

Merced has great locations as far as Yosemite at One Direction Fresno win the other and going up to Buck Meadows or core School through the Old 41 very nice and if you get it in the right time of the year you get to go to the Frog jumps and Angels Camp

This hotel and stay was our best ever. Rooms are clean and comfortable and soooo cute. The staff all were helpful, friendly with wonderful smiles. Our only issue is that we drive a large truck that was tight to park but all worked out. Would love to plan another visit as soon as possible. Thank you to the entire staff

Thus was the worst hotel for the price we've ever stayed in. There were roaches in our room, had to keep asking for towels because there were none in the room and we were there for four days. We were able to switch rooms after the first night of complaining of roaches in the room. The bugs were also in the second room as well but figured by then it was a roach motel. Will not stay nor recommend this hotel to anyone. I did get the picture of the roaches because they ran. But was able to get the picture of the wall outlet hanging by the wires in the floor.

Merced seems like a nice town. I thought it was safe and the people were friendly. Though I didn't really come to enjoy the town itself but rather to go to Yosemite National Park. So the proximity to the park is great.
