I went just to visit Letchworth State Park. It is considered the Grand Canyon of the East. Naturally the weather didn’t cooperate, overcast, rain but we managed. You can drive and stop the entire area. We prefer to hike, next time! Foliage was stunning.

Perfect location for visiting Letchworth State Park, which is just a few short minutes drive away. It's a very clean and comfortable hotel with everything you need after a long day's hike. There are a number of restaurants in the area as this hotel only has a breakfast room. Mt Morris itself is a bit depressed and not loved. With some cash and TLC, It has the potential to be like the picturesque town of East Aurora (which is definitely worth a visit when you're up there). We ate at Brians Diner - good food and good first time American diner experience for us. We also ate at the close by Charcoal Corral in Perry. It's a fast food restaurant with an amazing ice cream parlour, little games arcade, and crazy golf. For family fun and evenings entertainment, we highly recommend this place. they also have an drive in Cinema but we didn't go there.

Greenway motel told us that extending our check out to noon from 11am would be fine at check in but then rescinded that statement the following morning and told us check out would have to remain 11am despite the fact that at that point we couldnt possibly be ready by then, would NOT recommend Greenway motel as a result of this, although mount Morris in general is a lovely town

Just make sure when using booking .com that even if you have family medical emergency, if it says non refundable they mean it. I didn’t expect my money to be refunded but when our daughter who was going to be coming with us was unexpectedly hospitalized I did think they would transfer reservation to another date. Nope out $165! Ridiculous in my opinion.
