Exceptional Stay at HYATT Place Mystic – Truly Memorable! The team at HYATT Place Mystic delivered an outstanding level of hospitality that deserves recognition. As frequent travelers, we can confidently say this property stands out as one of the best overall—especially in terms of value for money. Compared to major brand hotels in New York, this hotel exceeds expectations by a wide margin. Choosing HYATT Place Mystic for our anniversary was absolutely the right decision. Every request was handled seamlessly, and the thoughtful gestures from the team made our celebration truly special. Kudos to everyone who contributed to this experience—small details really do go a long way. As an SAP Consultant and Decision Representative at BMS, I would highly recommend this property for any corporate stays or client meetings in the Connecticut area. The amenities are excellent: Breakfast: Great drink options, and my daughter loved the bacon and the fun waffle maker. Design & Space: Modern, spacious, and impeccably clean. Parking: Convenient and ample. Location: Close to the village, which made our day even more enjoyable. Everything was smooth from start to finish, making this one of our Top 5 hotels in the U.S. We will definitely return and continue to recommend HYATT Place Mystic to colleagues and friends.

Very clean, attractive, comfortable accommodations, nice breakfast buffet, convenient location close to Mystic Village, courteous staff. Very reasonable rate for New Years Eve. Only drawback is that you have to drive 2-3 miles to the center of Mystic, and parking in town can be a problem when Mystic is crowded in the summer; you may have to park several blocks away from Main Street . However we had no problem parking during this stay .

The Mystic Seaport was fascinating and my friend and I had an ideal day for touring the various places on site. However, one day is not enough to do it justice, particularly if one can't walk for hours on end. We took an hour or so break for lunch to rest our feet/legs and returned mid afternoon to see some of the interesting temporary exhibits. We did not see everything the venue has to offer. The docents we encountered were friendly and informative. We plan on seeing the Mystic Aquarium as well.

Love this little town! Lots of places to eat, great atmosphere, safe and clean. Close to so many day trip options like Providence, New Haven, Sleepy Hollow, Tarryton and Newport! We loved eating at Mystic Pizza and Jeramiah’s!

Mystic is definitely worth a weekend visit.

Mystic is definitely worth a weekend visit. The downtown waterfront area is adorable if touristy. Lots of good restaurants and shops. The seaport museum is much more than a museum- it’s an experience. You would probably need more than a day to see everything. There is also an aquarium, a little village of shops to explore and chartered boat tours. We have been here twice and still haven’t seen everything. S and P Oyster House and the Engine Room were both great for dinner. Chapter One was a great spot to go for an after dinner drink.

I adore Mystic!

I adore Mystic! It's a cute, quaint, walkable little town with lots of places to eat and shop. The scenery is beautiful, especially when there's a little dusting of snow in the winter. There's only one problem - there are usually too many other people there! The secret is out! You could wait a while for a table in most restaurants if you don't make a reservation. If you rent a car, be aware that the drawbridge goes up every now and then and you could be stuck sitting in a long line of other cars for a while - besides, it's best to walk there, so park that car somewhere and take a stroll. And if you stay in Mystic, be prepared to pay a lot for a hotel room. There are a couple of very nice ones right in town if you don't mind paying a lot. But there are also a couple of lesser known inns there (which I prefer) that are only a 10-minute walk from the bridge and downtown. Mystic is a lovely little place to visit!

We loved eating at the Breakwater in Stonington and had oysters and more! After we walked the streets and shopped in Mystic. Since we are not into souvenirs we don't usually buy things, but we found some great clothing stores and bakeries that captured our pocketbooks. The old seaport is lovely and a must see.

The whole Mystic area is beautiful and many areas serene.

The whole Mystic area is beautiful and many areas serene. Traveled from Mystic west to Old Saybrook and north west to Essex which was outstanding. Don't miss lunch or dinner at the Griswold Inn you won't be disappointed. Went east to Stonington which we loved. Much too much traffic in Mystic but if you are able good walking distance to everything. Shops were grossly over priced but the restaurants were wonderful.
