We were there for Family weekend for my grandaughter at CNU.

We were there for Family weekend for my grandaughter at CNU. It was a nice visit to learn the area somewhat. Certainly were enough resturaunts to choose from. People were pleasant but unfortunately the weather wasn't the best.

Newport News Virginia is a place to make History with your family even the park was clean and peaceful, the food at the restaurant was delicious, shopping was great we did like they say shop till you drop we will be back!!!!

The city of Newport news should have inspectors go there and...

The city of Newport news should have inspectors go there and shut the place down til the owners redo every room in that dump hotel, hire decent workers not drug people, remove all the smelly carpet in the whole place, remove the ghetto glass at the front desk, order all real towels and wash clothes for the bathrooms, hire a real GM, do back ground checks on all employees, throw out all homeless people that stay there, keep non paying customers' from hanging around the front entrance, hire a landscaping company to redo the front of the place to make it look like something, exterminate the whole property big time, have police to do drive buys now and then, the owners off that property should be ashamed of them self's the way it is now, shut it down, i would not stay there if it was free!

I was born and raised in Newport News.

I was born and raised in Newport News. They are definitely a lot of things to do around there, a lot of good restaurants a ton of shopping. I would totally recommend Newport News someone that hasn't been there.

I had family in Mary Immaculate Hospital.

I had family in Mary Immaculate Hospital. The convince of the hotel, restaurants, and store's not far from the hospital was GREAT!!!! We were from NC and not familiar with the area but we felt at home with everything nearby.

Everything was good. The room was clean.

Everything was good. The room was clean. The front desk staff was great! We could have used two medium or firmer pillows and two soft pillows. Overall, we had a very good stay. Nice Hampton Inn!

No breakfast and the location was horrible.. it was crack heads and hookers walking around all night and even the next morning we saw a lady standing in the window waiting on someone to answer the door . Bed was hard , pillows was flat , shower was barely big enough for myself . Do not recommend staying here unless u just need a cheap place to stay .

I traveled with my 3 children. The staff was so kind from check in, to the employees in the breakfast area, to the cleaning staff. Super down to earth and kind. My room was HUGE! My kids had so much space to move around. The breakfast was always great , having a variety of choices. I will definitely be staying again when I come back to town!
