Where we stayed was between the town of Pescadero and the Ano Nuevo State Park, which was the purpose of our trip. Any one we encountered was very friendly. Except for where we stayed there are not services available until you get to Pescadero or in the opposite direction to Santa Cruz. There is a small gas station but it wasn't opened at night and it was being worked on in the day. We thought we would try eating dinner and walking around in the town of Pescadero but it was very quiet and really not a lot to walk around and see. It looks like a community I would love to live in with the surrounding farms, but for sure we would have to go to a bigger town for groceries etc. There appeared to be a local watering hole, but it didn't look like food was available there. I would love to go back and explore the local area more and I think possibly further inland there was more happening but gas was an issue at that time.

PI did not offer "breakfast" as such. That said, the coffee and juices and fruit and biscotti were very nice. We went to the gas station at the corner of Stage Road and Pescadero Road for breakfast. Wonderful Tacos and Burritos.

The grounds are beautiful and our stay in the lodge went above our expectations. It was quiet, calm, and relaxing. We enjoyed the hikes nearby and would definitely stay again.
