Everything! I had a king room with a balcony which was so beautiful (I didn’t realise it was a shared balcony though but luckily there was no one staying in the adjoining room so I had it al to myself). The sunrise and sunset from the room was so beautiful, definitely a highlight to see and hear the ocean from bed. The location is perfect, only a few minutes walk to all the shops and restaurants. The staff are friendly and helpful. The bed was super comfortable. I stayed for 2 nights and would definitely come back here again.

It was in a great location, close to Muir Woods in a quiet town. they offer a beautiful breakfast and complementary wine and cheese in the evening. the dining room faces a group of beautiful Californian redwood which is awesome.

We were upgraded for free since they had lots of availability. The house is absolutely stunning. I booked a room here on a whim because we walked past it and it looked so beautiful on the outside. I was so happy to discover it was a hotel!

The boutique hotel was lovely, clean, the continental breakfast selection was more like a "European style" --full on menu (i.e.,beverages- juices, teas, coffee, espresso, hot entree with assortment of breads, pastries, spreads, fruits, cold entrees, etc.). The food was excellent. The quality of the food and beverages were exceptional! The morning dining room staff were professional and courteous and not intrusive to guests while dining. but, if you needed to order an item from the dine in menu the staff was there to take your order and worked efficiently. The dining room was clean and setup lovely. The staff always kept the food area replenished and very clean! We also enjoyed the 24 hour availably for in room dining. My husband and I will definitely be returning soon to stay at Hotel Drisco. The 24 hour parlor room service with hot and cold beverages with light snacks was a welcome treat especially the biscotti! Nice to come back to the Hotel and relax in the parlor room with a beverage and have a snack. The selection of quality teas were very nice. All the Hotel Drisco staff from bell men, front desk, dining room and housekeeping were professional and courteous especially, Tanjay! Our room was clean and very comfortable...housekeeping staff always kept our room very clean...like the bed and bath linens too!

Sausalito is a beutiful town with many great places to eat.

Sausalito is a beutiful town with many great places to eat. THe views from the harbor are outstanding, acros the bay to San Francisco and the other bay islands. It's also a great base to vist San Francisco from . You can take the ferry or take an inexpensive bus ride which takes about 40 minutes and has the added avantage of a trip across the Golden Gate Bridge on the way. The bus opeartes every hour throughout the day and the ferry every 2 hours 0700-1800. If you want live music in a friendly bar then the No Name Bar is for you. Great music and a good selection of micro brews. Hotels are rather expensive but this is the same in downtown San Francisco. Highly reccomended.

We visited Sausalito Sunday and Monday during spring break.

We visited Sausalito Sunday and Monday during spring break. Sausalito is full of live, people shopping, walking around. However, only after 11-12. In the morning everything is closed... no one on the streets. We were wondering where everyone was.

When I visited 20 years ago, I happened to stop by and...

When I visited 20 years ago, I happened to stop by and looked for a hotel, but there were no vacancies, so I gave up. But I vowed to definitely return someday, and finally I did. This resort area is a breathtaking respite from the chaotic atmosphere and constant vigilance of America. It's a unique experience, like being lost in a small European country. The hotel staff told me that the waterfront restaurant is expensive because it prioritizes ambiance, but they recommended the other restaurants. I made a reservation months in advance, so I went to the waterfront restaurant, and it was delicious. The breakfast establishments and small souvenir shops are all very pleasant. It's an area you'll want to stay in forever. San Francisco is easily accessible by ferry, car, or bicycle. This is my top recommended hideaway.

The city is beautiful, but I absolutely do not recommend the Sausalito Hotel. You'll have a terrible night; the beds are awful, the service is terrible, and the internet doesn't work. Please don't go to this hotel; the service is terrible, the room smells bad, and the air conditioning has a very bad smell when you turn it on. They don't even have water to offer. The service is awful; look for another hotel.

We enjoyed the historic aspect of the hotel and the historic location of it. Liked the proximity to the town's restaurants and shopping. Liked the energy of the town and walkability. Liked the window seating with nice view of bay and park. Pretty tile and stained glass in bathroom.

The front desk staff was very nice to let me early check in and keeping luggage after check out. The scenery was very beautiful and the environment was relatively quiet according to its center location of Sausalito. The traffic was convenient.

LOVED the location - views of the Golden Gate Bridge are unbeatable. Food was very good as well, we ate at both the restaurant and pub. Within easy biking distance of the bridge and 20 minute bike ride into Sausalito.
