Front desk agent, Jojo, was exceptionally helpful and had a great personality, which was wonderful after driving all day. Great area to walk pets. We went to visit Caverns of Sonora, which was great, and worth the trip. Aside from that, there isn't anything else in Sonora. The town felt safe enough. Food was ok, but nothing special. We stopped about 30 or 40 minutes away at Fort Mckavett and took the walking tour. We like history and found it interesting. It was a nice side trip off the beaten path. I have been staying at other locations in Sonora while working but this Motel 6 has earned my businesses. I will be staying there on my next trip in a few weeks and thereafter.
