Affordable and convenient to the highway this hotel is great! The staff is friendly and always accommodating and the rooms are clean and neat! The bed is not lumpy and the amenities are fabulous. I left some items at home in a rush and the hotel staff provided with toiletries and bedroom slippers! Definitely a great choice and the breakfast is amazing! Blueberry waffle batter was on point !

Friendly and accommodating staff. Delicious breakfast of sausage, gravy, biscuits, mini cheese omelettes, bagels, muffins, cereal, and coffee brewing 24 hrs. Wifi was great with computers accessible in lobby. Great location walking distance to restaurants and gas stations. Interstate nearby. Extra bonus, washer and dryer avail on 2nd floor. Definitely will stay here again on next trip to South Hill.

The staff and accommodations were nice, the food was fine. The only thing that was not up to par was the cleanliness of the first room we were given and all the public areas. A vacuum to the carpets would have done wonders for the public areas. The staff was very nice and went out of their way to be helpful. All in all I would stay there again.

South Hill is a perfect lodging location when traveling from Athens Ga. to DC. We enjoy eating at Lucas Italian Restaurant which is one exit south. The hotel room is fairly quiet even located next to a Love’s truck stop. Just put the fan to continuous running. A quiet area other that a few trucks arriving and leaving. The hotel is kept very clean and is modern, efficient and stylish. Nice hot breakfast options with great cinnamon rolls and fresh fruit. I liked the egg white omelette with vegetables. There was a cheese omelette option. Overall great relaxing hotel with friendly staff. We were traveling to see a new granddaughter so didn’t have a chance to take in the sites. Beautiful countryside though.

The town of South Hill is a great place for quick get away. The people and the town are refreshing. The cleanest place I have been in a while. The town people still greet with a warm smile and hello.

Staying at the Hampton Inn South Hill was a wonderful experience with only one drawback...no non-dairy coffee creamers! With the millions of adults currently experiencing a lactose intolerance and the significant number of other adults who will develop this lactose intolerance, it would be a pleasure to include a non-dairy creamer with our coffee.
