I lived in Sunbury for a few years before moving back home...
I lived in Sunbury for a few years before moving back home to the state of Maryland. Sunbury is a great town, friendly people and there are a lot of things to do, and it looks like more entertainment and restaurants are coming.

I'm not a complainer and love staying at Hamptons, but the Hampton in Sunbury, OH needs improvement. The location was fine for the trip we were going on but the breakfast was cold and the juice was warm!!! Our neighbors next to us were rude and loud at 6:00 a.m. slamming doors, yelling and running in the halls. When I notified the front desk all they said was we can't control who you get put next to!!!! hmmmmm! I will not stay at the Sunbury Hampton again. Very Disappointed!

The location was close to the Cardinal shooting center, but...
The location was close to the Cardinal shooting center, but the hotel was not up to the standards of a IHG hotel. The room had paint pealing in the bathroom, the bathroom door was coming off the hinge and wouldn’t close, the mattress had a giant dip on one side. The floors in the room didn’t appear vacuumed nor in the elevator. Breakfast had options but no salt or pepper available. The staff were all friendly but I wish I would have stayed elsewhere for the price!

The bed was comfortable, both sides of the bed had nightstands and working lamps and ample space. The bathroom was generously sized, and had counterspace for two toiletry bags. (Why is this so uncommon?) The shower was also large, and had plenty of hot water and pressure. Our room was on the back of the hotel, so had a view of grass and trees, instead of parking lot and highway.

The hotel smelled good as soon as I walked in. The room was very clean and inviting. The bed was so comfortable. I loved the fact they have Dove products as I have sensitive skin. Staff was very friendly.

The staff at this hotel was exceptionally good. They allowed us to store our bikes in a conference room and unlocked it in the morning before we could even ask.
