The location is absolutely perfect. It is close enough to the center of town and much of the attractions without you getting stuck in traffic. The room was clean and easy to maintain. The shower was amazing! Plenty of hot water and the best water pressure I've ever had at a hotel. Loved the shower head as it had a few settings and all of them maintained the same water pressure. Office staff were very friendly and eager to help.

Although very reasonably priced (65 $ for a huge room with two king size beds), the Carmel Inn has all the avantages of a luxury hotel. - free parking - free breakfast - swimming pool - restaurant & bar - spacious lobby - five minute walk to historic downtown

A perfectly functional hotel a couple of miles from downtown. The staff were most helpful, my room was fine and breakfast (a simple but adequate buffet) did the job well.
