Although very reasonably priced (65 $ for a huge room with two king size beds), the Carmel Inn has all the avantages of a luxury hotel. - free parking - free breakfast - swimming pool - restaurant & bar - spacious lobby - five minute walk to historic downtown

A perfectly functional hotel a couple of miles from downtown. The staff were most helpful, my room was fine and breakfast (a simple but adequate buffet) did the job well.

- Not clean - understaffed (the only person in the hotel is great but clearly need some help) - Lot of broken restrooms - not healthy - Cheap which is good

We are frequent guests anytime we come to Thibodaux because of the prime location, incredibly comfortable accommodations and delightfully welcoming staff.

It was a nice, quiet, clean simple hotel.
