It is the Standin on the Corner in Winslow Arizona that tourists and me came for. There are other quaint places to see and more should be made of the railway..... very long trains were coming and going all day.

Close to freeway entrance, easy access. Room was clean and quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great place to stay for travelers. Whether overnight or vacationing in Winslow. The price for the rooms just can't be beat, and pet friendly charge is only $10 per pet.

We really enjoyed "standing on the corner" Everyone we encountered was friendly and courteous! Ate at Bojo's and Relic Road Bar. Both were very good! ALSO - Dollar Tree was a short block from Clarion Pointe and so convenient for a couple things we needed!

stopped there to see winslow corner from eagles song, also enjoyed meal at flat bed ford cafe! working on rt. 66 stamps for our passport of rt. 66! lots of great littles shops, too. even found a rt. 66 monopoly game for our collection!

Great place for an overnight stay. Friendly front desk staff with good recommendations.
Worth going further afield and finding Standing On the Corner as depicted in the Eagles song. Near the Posada hotel/inn. Good photo op.

Winslow was the only affordable place in Northern Arizona...
Winslow was the only affordable place in Northern Arizona because of the crush of Grand Canyon visitors and the over-pricing of accommodations in the area. As such a site of overflow housing, it's OK. Not a destination. Most of the people staying where we did are construction workers who apparently are pretty hard on the place.

Winslow is obviously a great spot for fans of the band The Eagles but also people interested in railways and the hotel has a front row seat, literally, for that as there is a train stop on site. The hotel has tremendous character and charm and for us was a good spot to break our journey to Santa Fe.

Rooms were comfortable and clean, hotel was fine, breakfast was OK, buffet style, front desk staff were lovely, very helpful and friendly. Easy access to highway, close enough to town centre also. Exactly as expected.

It was a great place to stay in Winslow. Clean, modern, and with a nice bar area. Rooms are well appointed and a good size.
I really appreciated the guest laundry room and gave the washer a workout!
