This lovely hotel is literally near everything! It's pretty close to one of the main avenues in Montevideo (18 de Julio), a very short walk from the historic Facal Cafe and some other wonderful places like Plaza Independencia and Ciudad Vieja. The rooms are quite spacious, and the kitchen was incredibly convenient, with everything we needed for a quick coffee or even a nice homemade dinner. The internet is super fast, and we were able to work without any interruptions. Even though its so close to a main avenue and in the heart of the city, the room had great noise isolation, and we had great, quiet nights of sleep in there. The staff deserve a special thank you and lots of praise. Juan, Leandro and Paulo were absolutely amazing during our whole stay. (And huge, huge shout out to Paulo for helping us so much with everything, from bakery recommendations to information for longer stays, always with a smile on his face!) We are already planning our next trip for November and we are certainly staying there again❤️

Booking, hotel and check-in: Very professional and helpful communication from the staff (after real chaos with other places I tried to book in Uruguay). Nice simple restaurant in the hotel that was open late, 10th floor terrace with view Location: Short walk to the old city, Independence square, the sea, main shopping streets; though almost everything was deserted and closed over New Year's. One of the only restaurants open was Sazon Peruana up the street, really delicious ... and great people! The room: Lovely corner loft room with trees outside the window, a big TV and a couple places to sit, a kitchenette. Very tasteful minimalist furnishings, squeaky clean, competent and non-intrusive housekeeping. The bed was huge and comfortable, soft sheets Addendum: The hotel of course has no control over this but just a note about the area during the holidays: there was a lot of visible poverty nearby that very much contrasted with the wealth of the hotel. This is not a complaint by any stretch ... but certainly was a real reality check

I loved the location its few minutes walk to the shopping center that has a supermarket called TaTa that sells everything. the bus terminal is there also. the rooms in the hotel is very nice and clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful I really enjoyed staying there its a very good place to stay and great price. I would stay there again

The hotel is located in the old town area. It's very convenient for discovering the city. The room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom clean (plus a large tree out the room window offering privacy and greenery). The shower had warm water and nice water pressure too. The staff was kind and helpful. The breakfast offered sweet and savoury foods as well as a good choice of beverages hot and cold.
