I recommend this place with my eyes closed, the best vacation I've had in many years, the place is perfect if you're looking to relax and be connected with nature. Mrs. Aida, her husband and children gave us excellent service. I was only going for 3 days but I also felt like I didn't want to leave and I extended it to 8 days. something extra and they will thank me for it. I 100% recommend that you try Mrs. Aida's food for breakfast and lunch, truly the best food I tried on the island 😍

Hotel California is a fantastic hotel, is very well maintained, the pool is amazing, I stayed in the apartment suit and it was superb, the breakfast is very good, the staff is super friendly and polite, taxi driver Oliver is one in a million guy!!! I will definitely recommend this place and definitely I will be back next summer!!! The beach is only 1 minute walk and is a safe beach beautiful with cristal clear waters. I'm going to miss this island. See you in 12 months!!!

The hotel is very nice, clean, the room is big. The room has hot water!!! This is not often seen in Venezuela. We had double room and size was bigger than we expected. The view from the balcony is on the pool and sea. Location 2 min from the beach and all restaurants. However, the hotel restaurant is nice with amazing food selections. The pool was cleaned every day! Staff friendly and helpful.
Highly recommend Hotel California Playa!

The facilities were excellent. It is not a n ew hotel but very well maintained. Everything functioned. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. This is not an easy period for Margarita. Tourism numbers are very evidently way down from what I saw many years ago but it is great to see the staff maintaining the highest standards of service and making the entire experience very pleasant.

Modern and comfortable appartments with kitchen and balcony. Very helpful staff. Quiet neighbourhood. Both perfect to stay for a night near to the airport (which you hear only very little) or longer to enjoy the windy beach of el Yaque.

Pool area amazed me the most! Besides I loved the breakfasts and also hygiene levels of the whole hotel. Also the service from employees was absolutely fantastic!
