So good we extended our stay. Chien is very friendly and speaks great English. He gave us a warm welcome and invited us for a “family dinner” with the other travellers staying at his place. The room was exactly as expected from the photos. Clean, modern and well designed. The windows even had mosquito nets so you could sleep with the windows open listening to the sounds of the mountain. The views from your bed and from anywhere in the accommodation are completely arresting. It was incredible waking up to a mountain soaring above the bed, with farm land and animals on the ground between you. The food was really good, it catered to everyone, serving chicken, fish, tofu, vegetables, omelette, fries, rice and spring rolls. Breakfast is equally delicious with pancakes and omelette on offer. Coffee and ginger tea are both served hot, which was a first in Vietnam for us and very much appreciated. The bar is done on a trust basis with a fridge and a board to mark drinks on your name. In short, we loved every minute of our stay and didn’t want to leave. We’ll be recommending this to anyone wanting to visit. Thank you Chien!

It was absolutely wonderful. The family is incredibly friendly and helpful. They even drove me to the doctor because I had a health issue. Truly fantastic! I was invited to join them for a family meal. The whole family is incredibly friendly. I felt right at home. Thank you so much for everything! I would love to come back anytime. Highly recommended! Everything was amazing, food was the best what we tried in North Vietnam, clean and comfortable room with amazing mountain view. Owner was super nice and helpful and we loved their dogs. Fully recomended 11 out of 10!
