Our Homestay owner is very knowledgeable about his hometown area. Our trip theme was to visit CACAO FARMS. We saw more! We saw cacao fruits, jack fruits, red coconuts, green coconuts, bananas, pomelos, tangerines, papayas and friendly neighborhood during our bicycle rides. Beautiful garden! A small paradise in the Mekong delta.. very interesting 6 hour boat tour organised by the owner and his family to give a better understanding in the region. This is a very beautiful part of the Delta with clean canals and neighborhoods and lots of opportunities to interact with locals. We took a bike ride one day and people would say hello to us as we passed. Another day we took a tour and got to get a bigger perspective on life here. If you want to be in the heart of the Mekong Delta - better...
If you want to be in the heart of the Mekong Delta - better go to Can Tho. Ben Tre just has not a lot to offer. The only thing you can visit is the night market, but it is not special. Only cheap tourist stuff that you will find on every other market in VietnamGuest review byaFAustria

The property is beautiful, the staff are wonderful, the grounds are gorgeous and well maintained. The rooms are spacious, very clean and the bathroom is huge. Nice swimming pool. Good breakfast. The staff could not be nicer and more helpful. The tours are local and on a small scale. You visit a local home, where rice paper and rice wine is made. Visit a cocotree farm and a trip on the river. Can’t believe it’s only been going 3 months, they have really thought of everything here and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The house and room are beautifully decorated, air con was great - best night’s sleep we had in Vietnam! The free bicycles with map for a 2hr pretty cycle were ideal, the breakfasts were delicious and Summer (and her sister) were able to give us lots of advice of what to see and where to go/eat. The farmstay is in such a picturesque area, with all the cabins having their own area with a hammock. The free bikes are great as it's a beautiful pedal into Ben Tre. The set menu for dinner is delicious and requires no mental energy. My boyfriend who is a meat eater vs me who is vegetarian could eat happily together which doesn't always happen in Vietnam!
