Excellent small homestay about 2 minute walk (through the dunes) to the beach. Rooms were very comfortable (we stay in rooms facing the sea (you could hear the waves but you can't see the beach because of the dunes). We were there in low season so everything was very quiet. When the weather is better there is more activity on the beach with pop up bars and restaurants. Excellent food too.

I feel so happy and lucky that I had the chance to stay in this beautiful place with such a warm-hearted family! They welcomed me so kindly during the severe flooding, and instead of staying just one day, I ended up staying three. I would have gladly stayed longer if I didn’t have a flight to catch! They treated me to the most delicious homemade food I’ve ever tried in Vietnam — so rich, diverse, and incredibly healthy. Everyone was so kind and friendly, always doing their best to make me feel comfortable and at home. It even happened to be my birthday, and they surprised me with a beautiful cake and a lovely celebration! I was so deeply touched by their love and care that I truly felt like I had found a family. I’m already looking forward to visiting them again when I return to Vietnam. We spent a full week at Hoi An Royal Beachfront Villas in one of their stunning 250 m² villas, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we checked in, we were warmly welcomed and introduced to our personal "butler", Hoan, who provided outstanding service throughout our stay. She helped us arrange tours, transportation to the Old Town, and answered every question we had – always responding within minutes, even on days when she was officially off-duty. That kind of dedication made a big impression on us. We especially appreciated the daily complimentary restocking of the minibar with cold beers and soft drinks and the little treats like chocolate left on the bed each day. These thoughtful touches made the stay feel extra special. Breakfast was fantastic – a rich spread of fresh fruit, smoothies, delicious bread, and high-quality coffee. Every morning felt like a small feast. The villa grounds were beautifully maintained, especially the area around the beach, full of palm trees and natural charm. The 25-meter swimming pool was another highlight – perfect for getting in a proper 1,000-meter swim every morning. This is a fantastic place, where luxury meets genuine hospitality. We truly hope to return within the next couple of years – and can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful yet pampering stay near Hoi An.

This is my third stay at La Charm and that’s no coincidence as this is my favourite hotel in Vietnam. The staff is super friendly and remembers you when you come back, and I even got a small gift when I checked out. I have stayed at a lot of hotels in Vietnam, and most of them have quite hard bed mattresses as that is quite common in Vietnam. But at La Charm that’s not the case, but it is very comfortable. The location is perfect, close to the river and centre of Hoi An, where you want to be, but still at a quiet street. After a delicious breakfast I every morning borrowed one of the hotel’s bikes and had a ride out on the countryside to take a look at the life there, and I highly recommend this as the flat terrain makes it easy for everyone to cycle, and it is interesting to see the everyday life of people on the countryside. The value for money for this hotel is great considering everything it offers, and I look forward to my next stay here.
