Everything was perfect. Awesome location, great staff and unique accomodation. As it is a little bit out of the main centre to properly enjoy it you should either be able to ride motorbike or bicycle. Bicycle hire was free and the roads are quiet so very nice to bike around to the attractions. On site restaurant and food was also great.

The friendly owners (Dung and Tuan) are super welcoming and helpful. They booked a van for us from Hanoi at very affordable rates. We also celebrated New Year's Eve with their family and friends. The staff is also very professional and always smiling. You are greeted with tea and footbath once you are back from your day visits. The breakfast options are very nice with plentiful of fruits. The recommendation are spot on with free bicycles. Lastly, the owners are so nice that they prepared a food package for us when we checked out. This is what makes them different from other properties. I will come again to this place and totally recommend everyone to stay at this wonderful place in Tam Coc.

The location of the hotel is very central and within short walking distance. There are bicycles available for free for hotel guest. The boat pier is just 100m away and there are plenty of places around for cycling. The garden of the hotel and fish pond with colorful fishes is very intriguing, my 3.5 yrs old daughter spent more time in the garden and around fish pond then inside the room.

I really liked how warm and caring the staff were during my stay. The facilities match the pictures online. Very clean. Some staff speak English more than others. Their pet corgi is absolutely adorable. I truly enjoyed my stay and I am sad to go. This is the type of place you think you will be there for a short time but it's so convenient, clean, warm and peacful you just want to stay longer. I extended my stay by two nights on my packed itinerary. On a personal note when I wasn't feeling well I was offered water and pain relief medication that did wonders! I was also followed up with regarding how I was feeling multiple times. They even offered to have a doctor visit, very thoughtful. So grateful for this kindness. As a solo traveller figuring out my adventures and navigating a horrible headache, your warm welcome and care really made my stay. Thank you so much, I hope to have the pleasure of visiting again for longer. Until we meet again!

Loved the whole place! The moment I stepped foot through the beautiful creeping fig covered gate opening and charming wooden door, I was mesmerised. Lush plantations surrounding the lit up pool in the centre with a two storey, 10 bedrooms villa u-shaped building, creating a very cozy and relaxing short holiday stay.

We actually stayed in Tam Coc, a nearby smaller tourist town...

We actually stayed in Tam Coc, a nearby smaller tourist town next to Ninh Binh. We stayed for 6 nights total and there were lots of things to do around. Pagodas, tamples, lots of caves, boat tours through those caves, Hang Mua view. I can definitely recommend it.

After few days in hectic but great Hanoi, I thoroughly...

After few days in hectic but great Hanoi, I thoroughly enjoyed Ninh Binh. I explored the area including the Trang An boat through the Halong Bay on land (it really is), cycling around the rice fields, visiting the Mua Cave (and going up the mountain), the hidden parts and cafes. It’s a slower pace place but this makes it special.

Ninh Binh itself is an industrial city - the real...

Ninh Binh itself is an industrial city - the real attraction is Trang An. Get there early - 6:50am, choose Route 1, and prepare to be transported into another world. Pictures do not capture the other worldly atmosphere of the place - it really is something special.

We stayed in Tam Coc which is the centre of all of the activity. Touristy, but worth it, beautiful place, lots to see and do. Don't miss the Tam Coc boat tour but leave first thing in the morning to be on the river by yourself and to watch the Lotus flower open. Stunning boat trip. The viewpoint is great but avoid going up to the dragon as it can be dangerous near the top. A must see is the gardens - take the time to go out and walk around, absolutely stunning. Really enjoyed our time here and would recommend to anyone. The scenery is just spectacular.

Beautiful Tranquil place in the middle of scenic hills forests and rivers. The Trang An river complex is a must see and Id recommend it over the Tam Coc anyday. The Trang An boat ride is approx 2.5 to 3 hrs and takes you through at least three water caves one of which is about 2omin long..its a once in a lifetime wondrous experience. Dont miss the Thung Nam bird park ..another beautiful hushded boat ride. Thoroughly enjoyable and Beautiful visit..not to be missed.

Pretty Speccy Scenery Yeah, Ninh Binh’s not bad at all. The landscapes are the real drawcard — all those limestone karsts and rice paddies make for a pretty magic view, especially if you hire a bike and cruise around. The boat trips through the rivers and caves are chilled and worth doin’. It’s heaps quieter than Hanoi, which is a nice break, though there’s not a huge amount going on after dark. You’re here for the scenery, not a big night out. Some of the tourist spots can feel a bit same-same after a while, and getting between ’em without a scooter or tour is a bit of a mission. Accommodation’s fine — nothing flash, but you’ll get a clean room and a cold beer without much fuss. Food’s simple but tasty, especially if you like fresh herbs and grilled stuff. All up, Ninh Binh’s a good spot for a couple of days if you’re keen on some easy-going nature and don’t mind a rustic vibe. Worth a look if you’re passing through — just don’t expect anything too polished. Chuck on a hat and some sunscreen, and you’ll be right.

The staff were extremely kind and very helpful with arranging tours. Everything was made easy and moved around our tight schedule, which we really appreciated. The free breakfasts were fantastic and the laundry service was very helpful. The setting is exquisite and the room itself was probably the nicest we had during our time in Vietnam. We would love to go back to Tam Coc/Ninh Binh and stay there again!

Good value room comfortable beds and amenities. Staff were very kind and offered us free juices in the evening and helped us arrange motorbike hire. Hotel is basic but really comfortable and just what we needed. Great location with walking distance into the centre to restaurants and cafes and a short ride to attractions in Tam Coc. It was also a short 15mins motorbike ride to Trang An and Ninh Binh centre.

This is a beautiful and comfortable hotel run by the loveliest Vietnamese family. Dan and his wife were so helpful planning my two days in Ninh Binh, I got to see all the main sights. Rooms are huge, bed comfy, air con worked a treat, smart TV and great location - only a 5-min walk to centre of Tam Coc but still in a peaceful location at night. Highly recommend!
