Situated on a quiet street on the outer skirts of the town you will find the ivy farm. The friendly couple has build this place by themselves and put a lot of care in to every detail of it. The house is very clean and nicely decorated. The bed is comfortable and the view in the morning quite nice. Make sure to try their coffee and food that they offer. Their coffee is grown with an organic philosophy in mind and the food is Traditional and locally-sourced Vietnamese cuisine. The farm is located South of Da Lat. There are some waterfalls to visit that can be reached by motorbike. But it is also worth staying here for a day or two if you have a good book in your suite case and hang out with the dog and two cats. Ivy farm is a great place for anyone who would like to discover the countryside around da lat without stepping too much on the beaten paths of the main touristic areas. It is a real farm house, so naturally there may be some bugs and mosquitos here but there were not too many in our experience. If you are lucky you might meet a local frog or snail in your house after rain. We had a great time here and highly recommend it for travellers and coffee lovers alike.

Just do it ! We spent 1.5 days at this farm and it was incredibly good. Jenny, the owner is your personal guide during this time and you are the only guest. You cannot only see the coffee production from the tree to the roasted bean, but also do every step on your own. The deep knowledge of the owners about their nature environment is not only limited on coffee, but on all the surrounding plants and fruits you will see while discovering their different coffee fields. Moreover we visited a silk production factory and learned a lot about silk production, which is done by some neighbours. While staying there you really feel part of their family when enjoying the meals together, that they prepare for you in the meantime (breakfast, lunch, dinner). Of course you can drink their coffee and other types of coffee in a lot of different preparation styles all the time (all the equipment you can use free all the time). The same with local fruits, always available in the kitchen. We arrived there by bus from Da Lat (30min). The organisation of the stay is totally individual and Jenny had always a good idea what to do next. So we also visited a temple and the Elefant waterfalls nearby. The sleeping room, bath is everything very clean and comfortable. When we first saw the 10* ratings we were a little bit sceptical, because often in Vietnam you can't rely 100% on the reviews. But after staying there, we honestly and easily have to give as well 10 points.

Built on beautiful grounds, the pine trees are magical. totally immersed in nature. Also loved the organic farm and the food at the bistro and the restaurant in the hotel was 10/10. Owner also organized a morning yoga session for me at the retreat next door.

This is going to be a long review for Lavender Dalat Hotel and Resort. Travel advisory - if you are in Dalat or planning to visit there look no further. It’s an example of the highest le level of hospitality as exhibited by the manager there , Ms Ly Hoang. I have been travelling globally and have experience in stating at 5 start properties but I have never ever received such great services anywhere else. Ms Hoang took care of all our requirements , right from book taxis for us to travel locally , to upgrading us free of cost from a tent to a room, proactively checking about our needs , so much so that we had an early checkout out 4.45 am , she personally came (it was pitch dark) to see us off . All this with a big smile on her face . Small things like this are no more small things , they are BIG things . Thank you Ms Hoang for an absolute level of personal touch and care . Now coming to the property. If you are nature lover, you may not want to skip this one . The beauty of this please can’t be captured by even the best camera in the world. The view to the lake is amazing from the cafe . The rooms are very comfortable with lovely view to the lake and valley. The flowers in and around the resort makes its look even better. The resort is not far from the Dalat attractions like Dalanta waterfalls , clay tunnel , Dalat market and lake, easily accessible by the Grab ! All in all its scores a perfect 10/10 , and Ms Hoang services can’t be rated, they can only be felt that touch the heart.
